very happy except for one issue. My cat has always backed up against the sides of a high box to pee, BUT pees on this low rim about once a day, so it runs outside. I’ve turned the box, no help. The larger and hooded boxes have the same low entry, so they wouldn’t help. I’m stumped.

Wanted to like this, will try the regular size a shot

My cats would pee in this, however, they would not poop in it. I tried for a week, and they continued to only use the other clumping litter litterbox for poop. Despite the two cats using it for pee, and the pee pad being full at the end of the week, it didn't smell like urine like it often would with clumping or crystal litter. However, my cats attempted to eat the pellets multiple times (even after using it to pee on) and also found the small, hard and cylinder shaped pellets fun to play with, so they would play in the litterbox or take the pellets out of it to play with. My best guess as to why they would not poop in it would be that they don't think there's enough litter in the box for it. The XL states to use two bags and it comes with two bags, however it fills the box very little. Looking at the pictures, the regular one seems to fill up more and be more difficult to remove pellets from with paws, so I will try that next

I really want to love this. This litter box has done wonders for odor control and it’s extremely nice to not worry about litter tracking everywhere. However I really struggle with having enough pellets to keep it full. One 7lb bag simply is not enough and I find that I have to use 2 to cover the entire thing or else poop gets smeared all over the bottom of the box. And the pellets really aren’t that cheap. Along with the cost of the pee pads I’ve really struggled keeping enough supplies on hand to enjoy this without having to dump all the pellets out and scrub the mess constantly. I’d say if you have the extra money to buy enough pellets to keep it full (more than advertised in my opinion) then this is a good option

Easy to keep up with cleaning

My husband and I both have physical challenges, so getting this litter box system has been amazing for us. Scoop the poop whenever it appears. Change the pee pad every 5 days (because a week was a little long with 2 cats). Change the litter and wipe down all the parts of the box monthly. Bag of litter weighs less than 10 pounds. And, while the up front costs might be a little spendy, you'll save so much on litter over time. I've recommended this to many people already.

Big Litter box

I only have 2 cats, but are they messy when it comes to their litter box. I finally in frustration I purchased the larger one. What a difference! I’m not suggesting

Costly mistake

My cats would not use this litter box. I wanted a large box but the pellets that come with it are useless. My cats batted them around like toys making a big mess

Would not use so I gave up after 3 days. Regular litter cannot be used with this box as it has holes in the bottom and standard litter drops right through. Really regret buying this.

After scoping twice a day I could still smell the litter box and my one cat likes to pee at the bottom of the litter box. Also some of the poop would stick to the pellets that fell thru the scoop. I went back to Arm and Hammer litter and it's been much better.

Awesome set up. No tracking, no dust, no licking wet paws covered with clay. Even tho it's scented, poop smells bad, so I scoop it and sprinkle litter deodorizer on top if I can't throw the garbage right away. The house does not smell like ammonia. W 1 cat, I change the pads once a week and monthly. When I had 2 cats, changed it often. The initial purchased ( litter box, pellet, pads) kinda pricey but I'm saving $10 monthly for not buying scoopable litter.

With regular cat litter? Is already be dumping in baking soda or wanting to change the whole littler box after 2 days! Not so with these pellets. The pooping part remains to be seen.

My neighbors use this system and I loved it so I got it for my cats. I no longer have to lug bags of litter to the basement or dump a huge box of litter into the garbage. It’s easy to scoop the poops and the pads soak up the urine. I scoop and replace the pad once a day and done. The pellet bags are small and lightweight and last a few months as I add them in slowly. I’m very happy with this system.
