lots of different levels of the puzzle

Well I actually bought this for my cat, as she is a quick learner with all the cat puzzles that I've bought and I thought that this might be a bit more challenging. It is, but not as much fun for her, i don't think, in finding the treats. You just need to spin the panels around. I guess the big challenge is that it can be as high as 4 levels or low as 1. I started her with 2. She found all the treats and knocked the little pillars off . Seems more fun and challenging when there are different things for her to do - ie - open the door, slide the panel, lift the door, pull the cord. push the handle, as opposed to just sort of spin it around to find the treats or knock the pillars off. Maybe dogs enjoy this more! :-)

This is not a favorite. It’s harder to load and there is not a setting for easier or harder. The beehive pieces are basically balanced in the holes and can be knocked over easily. You could probably add squeeze cheese or yogurt, etc. to make it more challenging I suppose. The spinning layers spin too easily so it’s more frustrating than challenging/stimulating for pups to get the treats/kibble out. This might be a better starter toy for gentle fur friends- but if you’ve got a heavy duty chewer/highly food motivated/heightened intelligence fur friend; they’re going to pick this toy up at once and Hulk Smash it - defeating its purpose. The layers come off for easy cleaning- but that same ease makes it a little bit flimsy during use. Overall the patience required to set up does not balance out the stimulation it provides (at least in our experience) My pup is pocket Pitt of 15 years, 52lbs. She gets annoyed with the spinning pieces smacking her in the nose and just knocks over the beehive pieces in seconds and then is like “is that it?” Might be better used as a slow feeder than a stimulation brain game toy.

Level 3

Cones have very loose fit and fall out. A level 3 toy should take a bit to figure but with cones falling out there isn't much to learn. I would grade this level

I've quite a few Trixie games for my cocker. The test tubes ones are his favorite. Unfortunately, this is another miss. He solved it quickly, but not because of the concept, but by the material. That's the issue with most interactive Trixie games. Great concepts, but they won't invest in the materials to execute the game properly. And for the love of all that is holy, if your dog is an avid chewer, get an avid chewer toy. An interactive toy leads to frustration for an avid chewer, and no surprise, they chew. If I My cocker has no interest in Kongs. Even if it's filled with roast chicken. Interactive games channel is excess energy. I hope Trixie considers investing in better materials. And I don't care where it's made.

This toy is amazing for my dog to occupy some time and use his brain. And use my brain to try to figure out how toput it back together lol

Great entertainment for our dog

Our dog absolutely loves puzzle games and has gotten very good at the easier ones. This one is a challenge for him, but is learning quickly how to get his treat
