Pets need regular dental care in-between professional cleanings, just like we do. And fresh breath is just the start! TrueBlue Pet Products Fast & Fresh Dog Dental Swipes promote healthy gums and can reduce infections that lead to tooth decay—and can even lead to more serious health problems. Many pet lovers find using wipes much easier than brushing, yet they provide similar oral health benefits. Vets agree that the friction the swipes provide is vital for plaque removal.

I've tried toothbrushes, gels, etc., etc., and my YorkiePo will have none of it!! I've used just pieces of gauze and had some success, but I love this product because (1) the ingredients are non-toxic, alcohol free (2) the pad has a gritty feel that kind of mimics using a brush (3) My pup seems to like the taste. (But he still fights the process) With all that said, I wish they were small strips appropriate for a small dog, These pads would probably be super for a large dog. I've cut the pad in sections and it's OK but a size geared for small dogs would be a winner for me,
These work really well for my dachsie Rosie and my chiweenie Mocha. Mocha actually loves them! She tries to lick them while I'm cleaning Rosie's teeth! Rosie is getting more tolerant, but with her dental problems, it's imperative that I clean her teeth often (she's a puppy mill rescue and already had 9 extractions due to prior poor dental care). I know the pads work because there's all sorts of brown gunk on them when I'm done and Rosie's formerly toxic waste dump breath is greatly improved. The pads are pretty large, so I cut them in half and that's plenty big for these two little girls.
My dog actually seemed to enjoy getting his teeth brushed, which is surprising he's very sensitive.
I got these for a new Shih Tzu puppy in hopes I can prevent too many dental issues!
I have tried several different dental wipes. These work the best.
We cut these wipes in half and wrap around a finger to clean the teeth of our chihuahua schnauzer mix. She loves them and licks the wipe between swipes of her teeth. We tried another brand but it was way too minty and she hated it, and each wipe was also smaller. Our vet commented how great her teeth look. I cannot get these locally anymore, so this is my go to place for purchasing them.
Like the product. Keeps our dog teeth white and clean
I have been using these wipes for a long while. I prefer these wipes because they have texture on one side and are bigger than other round wipes making it easy to wrap around my finger. I don't think my fur babies care about having fresh minty breath but these wipes do make their breath smell fresh.
This has the least chemical additives for dental cleaning that I could find, and that doesn't involve a toothbrush! I just lay him on a pillow before bedtime every night, and massage his teeth on all sides; I feel like if someone did that to me, I'd enjoy it! He hated the toothbrush, and would bite down on it. It has a very mild, unobtrusive smell. I also use Oxyfresh water additive in his water, so I'm not sure if it's either one or both, but since his initial cleaning (after his rescue) 3 years ago, he has not need his teeth cleaned again, which technically you're suppose to have done every year. I cannot see any plaque on the teeth that I can visualize. So if you love your pooch, do both, it's worth it, even tho it pinches the pocketbook.
As soon as I opened the jar, I noticed a strong chemical smell. My dog, who usually loves everything, did not like this at all, and backed away. I see that the main ingredient is witch hazel, and I searched if witch hazel is safe for dogs. I found an article that says witch hazel is OK to use topically (on dog's skin), but to never ingest it. I called Chewy, and they gave me a refund.
