Our two golden doodles periodically get diarrhea and our vet always prescribes Tylan and it is gone in a day or so. Unfortunately, the diarrhea seems to come at 2am on a weekend when it takes time to get the medication from the vet. Since we know it is nothing more serious, our vet gave us a prescription to order this from Chewy. It is great to have it on hand and be able to give it to them in the middle of the night to catch the diarrhea quickly, normally stops right away.
It's hard working with my vet, and these people are wonderful. They are responsive and quick to resolve issues! This powder is a good alternative to metronidazol.
Much more economical to buy Tylan in bulk (rather than from vet) and then have compounding pharmacy load into capsules.
After much trial and discussion with my Vet, we decided to give my Shepherd a maintenance dose of Tylan to keep her from constant diarrhea. It's working and sometimes she goes for a long time without needing it at all.
This produce seems to be working well for my dog who has tummy issues. Easy to use just mix with dry food.
This is the best stuff for a dog with diarrhea. My Frenchie has a very sensitive stomach and had diarrhea off and on for 3.5 years. Tylan powder was a God send.
Tylan powder has been the remedy for the loose stools my senior fur buddy had been experiencing. It's been a blessing for the relief it has provided. Thanks goes to Chewy for their follow-through with my Vet to get it done.
I ordered this from Chewy, because my vet was charging almost the same amount for 1/4 the amount.
I thought these were the same size I got from my vet and ordered too much. I hoped Chewy would take back the unopened bottles, but no. And no refund, which they often do. First time I’ve been dissatisfied with Chewy, but overall they are still awesome. I’ll find a place to donate the extra before it expires.
This was just the ticket for my senior dogs long term tummy issues. A great solution for a not so nice problem, thanks Chewy!
