Eco products are made from a plasticresin called bio-composite, which consist entirely of plant material. 92%-95% is made of plant fibers from bamboo grass and rice husks. 5%-8% is made of an organic binding agent (glucose/amino acids).

These bowls are fantastic with one exception: the bottom silicone piece has fallen off of every single one of the six bowls I have, all within a few months of only handwashing them. Tried gluing them back on to no avail. They are still functional without the bottoms, but would be better if they stayed on. Perhaps offer two versions? One without the silicone for a lower price, and one with a better glued bottom for a higher price.

I bought this dish to match the identical cat dishes that I already was using. My first Burmese cats used these dishes for a long time. I don't use them for my kittens because I don't think they are as good for combating possible whiskery fatigue. My other two cats, unfortunately, weren't able to tell me if they were too small for them I :>)

Great cat food bowls

We are a multi-cat household, and have 9 adopted cats from local rescues. They had been using Frisco plastic food bowls but I read that plastic should be avoided

We are a multi-cat household, and have 9 adopted cats from local rescues. They had been using Frisco plastic food bowls but I read that plastic should be avoided. Their old dishes were also deeper, and might have caused whisker fatigue. Enter these new dishes! We like that they're bamboo, and they are much more shallow, allowing the cats to get all their food easily. They all seem to enjoy using their new bowls, and cleanup is a breeze.

The bowl holds much yet is low enough for a baby kitten to drink from. Two kittens can't share at the same time. This is a small bowl. Even though it's big enough for one meal for a big cat it's still low. I love it, I have baby kittens and big cats. I live in a trailer park and the man in front owns lots of cats. The ones he doesn't feed come to me half dead and so sad. Some I have brought back to life over a year and several months ago and yet I can't get close. I can't make eye contact while I am walking closer to them it's frightening they run. I make sure that I keep making happy sounds and talking calmly and happy. Although they finally have relaxed and we share an understanding I would like to pet them. They are beautiful. Some I can touch after the first time helping them. Grey, he couldn't breathe. He was so thankful he was my bodyguard. He even tried to fight a raccoon. It took three weeks before I could get him to understand that they all are welcome. I love you all. From whooping others to playing with them just by talking to them and loving on them. Always being consistent with the love. Animals are so smart. I almost got two female ones to the point I can pick them up four inches off the ground and back down as I love on them. Once I can get them up higher for a bit longer. Straight to the toat bag and off to the vet. I'm so excited. So yes, buy the bowl. It's perfect from kitten to adult hood. Just when your baby gets older, sit it on something 4 inches off the floor. So they don't have to bow to eat. Enjoy,

The bottoms have are completely covered with a non slip silicone, keeping them from moving around on the floor. They are thick and sturdy and non breakable.

It's not dishwasher safe, it's not usable in the microwave, and it's very small for cats, as they can suffer from "whisker fatigue" by constantly bumping their whiskers

It's not dishwasher safe, it's not usable in the microwave, and it's very small for cats, as they can suffer from "whisker fatigue" by constantly bumping their whiskers against the sides of bowls. It looks larger in the photo. Don't be fooled. It does hold 8 oz when filled completely to the brim, but only 4-5 usefully (without spilling as you move it).

It does help to have the silicone bottom. The bowl doesn't slide around as much. Great size for my CH kitty who sometimes flips his bowl over. That hasn't happened

Cute, non-slip base, robust, right-sized

I have 4 cats inside and use a robot vacuum, so need to protect the cat food from getting bumped around, and need a whisker-friendly plate for their canned food

I have 4 cats inside and use a robot vacuum, so need to protect the cat food from getting bumped around, and need a whisker-friendly plate for their canned food. I use 5-ounce cans and wasn't sure if this little dish was going to be big enough to hold a whole can and not result in them pushing the food out onto the tray that holds their food and water. Happy to report that the non-skid base really works well, the little dish comfortably fits a 5-ounce can of pate cat food, they can eat the food without whisker irritation on the low sides, it's easy to clean, and it looks like it's going to last a long time - it's well made. Happy me, happy cats!

Love the size and kitty face design. Bought some awhile ago and wanted more. The shiny finish on the old ones started to wear off in the dishwasher, but they're still fine to use. Now I wash them by hand, which only takes a few seconds, and is worth it for the cuteness of these!
