    Works Wonderfully

    By on

I bought this to spray on my dog’s hot spots where he had gnawed away the fur. His poor skin was red and itchy. I had taken him to the vet and what they prescribed for him wasn’t working very well. A friends suggested I try this and it works very well. It has a pleasant and not strong scent and has taken the red away. He was stopped scratching and gnawing and his fur is growing back. It was a perfect choice.

It's working for itchy sore paws!

My 8 yr old Shih Tzu mix has allergy issues. She licks her little paws constantly and does not like them touched. I knew they had to be sore and tried the Vetericyn plus spray. At first she pulled her paws away but now lets me not only spray but gently rub the paws after spraying. It must feel good and she is licking much less in a short period of time!

Recently our boxer had some scaly dandruff looking skin. Before we made a vet trip we tried this. Works great and his skin is clearing up and his fur is growing back.

I always have Vetericyn plus for minor scrapes and cuts on my dogs and horses. I was looking for something for hot spots on my golden retriever and came across this. Since what I have works well, I was sure this would be a good product. Problem is, it is exactly the same formula as what I have, just a different label.

Completely healed my kitten’s hot spot. Had to wrap the area so he wouldn’t lick but it healed nicely.

Worked great for hot spot on dog

My very long-haired shepherd had several surgeries in a row and couldn't get bathed. Her hair was getting matted as a result, and she ended up getting some nasty hot spots because she couldn't be groomed. The first set of hot spots required an urgent visit to the vet along with antibiotics, shaving her, and a big vet bill. I could tell she was in a lot of pain too, and only picked up this item hoping to give her some immediate topical pain/itching relief. Well a few days later she started getting a new hot spot in a different place. Because I was on the look-out I caught it before it turned really nasty and started using this spray on it. I cut the hair back as close as I could without shaving My very long-haired shepherd had several surgeries in a row and couldn't get bathed. Well a few days later she started getting a new hot spot in a different place. Because I was on the look-out I caught it before it turned really nasty and started using this spray on it. I cut the hair back as close as I could without shaving and then sprayed this on. Within hours the hot spot literally disappeared. I couldn't believe it. The original really nasty one still took days to clear up (even using this spray), but this really nipped the new one in the bud. My only complaint with Chewy on this is that they only carry the 3 oz. bottle. Other places carry the 8 oz bottle which is what you need if you have a very large dog like I do. This product is probably not for someone who hasn't had previous experience with hot spots. They can be really gnarly, and sometimes do require antibiotics, shaving, etc. But if you know what you're looking for and you jump on it immediately, this is a very good product. Planning to always keep a bottle on hand. … more
