Does the silicone tip come off?

Answer by CattDec 29, 2025
No. It's adhered to plastic permanently.

Can each puller be reused? Or are they one time use?

Answer by DarcymomDec 08, 2025
They last for years!

Can the puller be used more than once

Answer by soobeeNov 27, 2025
I have used the first one over 2 weeks so far, with the tiny pink thyroid medicine pills for my cat. works better then I ever thought it could. makes medicating him so easy, wish I had found it earlier.

What is the approximate dimension of the inside of the tube where it holds the pill?

This is going to be the best popper you can find for the price. Yes, It stinks that I have to pay and get 12 when I only need 2 but It is going to be the softest tip you will find. I had one before and It is more of a rubber end, so if you have a trouble pet with lots of movement it shouldn't hurt them at lf it hits the roof of there mouth. Verses I have wasted money while trying to save it on other ones I thought would hold a bigger pill but they are plastic and tips are hard not soft, so don't be deceived by the pictures... Buy the 12 and give a few away to a friends, family that has a pet that may have the need for one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

As the title says. The pincers that hold the pill do not quite securely hold the small pill my cat needs. I hold the dispenser upright until I have her mouth open then flip it into her mouth and hope the pill does not fall out. That said- it’s easier (for both the cat and me) to slip the dispenser into her mouth than my finger!

I just received a package of pill dispensers: Vet One Pet Piller. I used it tonight to give my cat, Penny her dose of Phenobarbital tablet. It worked. I got it in her way easier than putting it in her food as she doesn't always eat all of her wet food. So the pill dispensers are awesome!

There's a process to follow in order for these pillers to work. The bag has written instructions and a 4-step drawing. Very easy to use. My vet charges more than 4 dollars for each piller, so I buy the 12-pack of Vet One pillers. Much cheaper, same piller! I have used on 4 month old kittens and adult cats. Sometimes I need to administer more than one pill per cat. I buy empty gelatin capsules from my vet, cut up the pills, and put them into the empty capsule. The capsule fits perfects into this piller! The pills go down easier if you syringe water before and after. I also bought the multi pack of syringes from Chewy. That's another review.

My dog has become a detective and can sniff out pills in any form of food or coating. I needed a way to get him his daily pills, and this pet piller has worked great. The pet pillers are reusable. I rinse them off after each round of pills. I would recommend giving the larger pills first because they slide out once the piller gets wet. Overall this has made pill giving so much easier.

We tried a different piller, which was awful. This piller was used for many years, but was beginning to break (rubber tip was hardening and starting to rip.) This was the preferred piller, since we've had many years of successful use. While it was the one desired, it would be better to have an option to buy several rather than 12! Rather than mess with other pillers, this was purchased and is working great. Again, another option to buy one, several or a few rather than 12 would be ideal (deducted one star because the only option is to purchase 12.)

A Game Changer!

I have a very smart, sensitive and DETERMINED black cat boy, Big Willie. Virtually NO other method I could use worked. Not in his food, and not manually. This worked

Best you can buy

I was a vet tech and have tried many pillers. This is the best! Softest, long lasting tip that holds even small pills firmly. I just wish they sold them singularly

I was a vet tech and have tried many pillers. This is the best! Softest, long lasting tip that holds even small pills firmly. I just wish they sold them singularly. These are reusable. I had my other one for at least 10 years and the tip never disintegrated. The tip finally broke but I sure got my money out of that one! Success in pilling my current kitten that takes meds twice a day 96% of the time. The other 4% was failure in my technique. Not that it takes great talent.

The best pill poppers!

Easy to use, holds small pills securely, not bulky. Makes giving unpleasant pills quick and effortless. My cat hardly reacted. I would have loved just buying one
