    Tasteless powder

    By on

My picky feline dosen't even care or notice the powder is in her wet food!! She needs this supplement to function and survive. She's on meds that make her potassium levels dangerously low. This formulation works!! My vet searched for a potassium product, found this one and kitties blood work reveals it's working fabulously.

    Helped my cat feel better

    By on

My 15 year old cat is having some health issues and one of them is a Potassium deficiency. I have been giving him this for almost 2 weeks and his Potassium levels have gone back to normal. I just sprinkle it on top of wet food and he eats it up (it is stinky, just how cats like it haha). I am very thankful he is eating it and that he is acting more like his normal self.

    Forget the gel!!

    By on

My boy was prescribed a gel potassium supplement and he haaaated it. No matter what food I tried to hide it in, he would catch on immediately .I actually ordered this first and talked to my vet the next day and she said she would have told me to get this exact product. Works like a charm, smells a little fishy but either cannot be tasted or he likes the taste because I have no issues. Mixes right into his food. Very happy.

    Is a good supplement

I am giving my cat Lucy the potassium supplement gel form for a few years now.she won’t Lick it off my finger so I have to give it to her with those tiny syringes , now I found out the same brand coming in powder form and is tasteless so I thought I give it a try see if this is a better option. So far so good I mixed it in her food and she eats it without any stress of taking it by syringe. Chewy’s as usual delivered on time and a good price . I consulted my vet before giving it to her and he approved it. Why I give four stars is because with Lucy she always can change her mind about any food or treat or supplement within days. So cross my fingers and paws so she continues to take it with I am giving my cat Lucy the potassium supplement gel form for a few years now.she won’t Lick it off my finger so I have to give it to her with those tiny syringes , now I found out the same brand coming in powder form and is tasteless so I thought I give it a try see if this is a better option. It's hard to tell if it's working because my cat hasn't had her follow-up appointment, but it mixes easily with her food and it has no odor, so she can't detect it. I wish they'd offer this in smaller containers because it's a supplement that she won't be on forever and that is wasteful because I may not need it again.

My elder cat is having it mixed with her food and seem to not notice it as she eats her food as usual.

My 19-year-old fussy Siamese girl needed a potassium supplement and she is IMPOSSIBLE to pill, so I was worried. Not only does she accept this mixed into her wet food, but she seems to actually like it!

This product is amazing! I have a cat whose potassium levels began to drop due to the medication she takes. She showed signs of weight/muscle loss, fatigue, and would hardly leave the bed. After using Renal K+ I have noticed such an improvement in her overall energy level and she has been getting herself into quite a bit of mischief! (jumping up on tv stands and kitchen tables... you name it!) In terms of weight gain I haven’t noticed a difference but this could just be a permanent side effect related to her disease. She is on a wet food only diet so throughout the day I mix small amounts of this powder in with her food. She is on a wet food only diet so throughout the day I mix small amounts of this powder in with her food. If I don’t break up the portion amounts she senses something different about her food and turns her nose up at it. However, she is an extremely picky cat in general (foods, medications, treats, etc.) so this is pretty subjective and may not be the case for your cat/dog. Without purchasing this product to supplement my cat’s potassium I truly believe her quality of life would’ve continued to suffer. Therefore, I give this product a double thumbs up and recommend it to anyone looking to increase their pets potassium levels (upon approval from your vet). … more

    Great alternative to gel supplements.

    By on

The vet said we need to supplement potassium for my older cat and gave me some samples in gel form. My cat really wasn't liking the maple flavored gel. Decided to try this powder instead and it's working out much better. It's a very fine powder making it easy to dust over dry cat food. Since its so fine more of it seems to be consumed. I'm not noticing much accumulating in the bottom of the food bowl. The cat seems to be more active and has increased the amount of grooming he's doing so I think this stuff is helping. Will have to wait for his next lab report to confirm if the deficiency is resolved but I'm very optimistic.
