I was disappointed thought it would be thick and stay on my dog instead it was more water then soap I guess.

    Great natural product

    By on

I've used both the dog and cat waterless baths. Both animals seemed to like being cleaned and didn't seem to mind the mild clean smell. I love the natural ingredients that won't do any harm if either the cat or dog lick themselves after being bathed. Neem is wonderful for so many things. I apply the foam with unscented baby wipes. This is a great way to keep sick or older animals feeling clean and happy without the stress or discomfort of a full bath.

    Smells Good

    By on

I can't say that it truly cleanses your pet, rather it mainly just makes them smell good and softens their coat. I thought I'd give it a try but probably won't buy again, as I'd rather just give my pup a bath instead.

Finally, a waterless shampoo that stands up to its claim! 6 stars!!!!

I'm a critical reviewer most of the time (blame it on my detail and lofty expectations when it comes to quality and VFM( Value For Money)of product offerings. I have used Vet's best conditioner mist on my two Goldens and it works, beautifully, in order to soften and freshen up their coats. However, I was happy with another waterless shampoo - also, a very good one and therefore, did not pay attention to this one by Vet's best until we, in NJ, had a heat spell in the midst of Spring and my dogs started wreaking of an odor much like vile BO in humans mixed with sweat. The other shampoo that I was using failed to rectify the problem. And, giving them a bath everyday to get rid of the odor did not seem feasible considering my work schedule. That's when I decided to give this product a shot. Boy o' boy! The first application and the odor, simply, neutralized upon contact. At first, I thought I was imagining and I kept sniffing my puppers to make sure the odor wasn't being masked as opposed to being neutralized. After they were dry the mild, sweet fragrance that their coats emanated made me a believer. I did, however, decide to hold off on my review lest I jumped the gun and jinxed myself, but - NO - the product has performed, consistently, with superior results the last couple of months and I decided to give it a review that no other product has had from me in years. Potential buyers - bear in mind that my dogs did not have any underlying skin condition that caused the odor. It was, merely, the humidity and the fact that they swam a lot to cool off. So do not use this product to resolve skin conditions and you MUST MUST take your pet to the vet if you suspect there is something more. Large and Giant breeds with thick coats will need the product to be applied generously. Be prepared for your generosity to cost you since it is not a VFM (read above) product. For me it is worth the money spent and I hope the quality will sustain itself and not fall prey to profit margins! Congratulations, Vet's Best! A job well-done. 6 stars to the waterless shampoo!!!!!! … more

Bought this for my pup who HATES baths (though loves the mud/dirt) and it works great to make him smell better in between baths. We don’t have to bath him as often as we used to.

my 12 year old basset loves his waterless bathes, they are so calming to him. He has to many problems to travel back and forth to the groomer for a full bath so much so he gets what we call a "sponge bath" and he loves it!!! Thanks Vets Best!

Best product for freshening my dogs' fur in cold weather.

    By on

The Vet's Best Waterless dog bath works well even on my two long haired dogs, a Goldendoodle and a Bearded Collie mix. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, which pleases my dogs and me! It is a wonderful solution to keeping my 73 lb. incontinent senior dog smelling fresher, even in a frigid Wisconsin winter. She also has mobility issues and can't stand up very long for a regular bath. I would like to see this product become available in a larger size for those of us with medium/large dogs.

Best shampoo ever! Our dog is an indoor dog so we bathe her often. We've used this product since she was a pup and have had no problems with the product.
