Question the new chemical smell
My dog has had these chews for years. The last several bags smell strongly like chlorine or some chemical. Is something going on with these chews? I'm not sure we should continue using.
Veterinarian recommended
My veterinarian recommended Virbac chews to maintain oral hygiene and health of my dogs' teeth (in addition to annual cleanings, of course). So far, so good. Plus, they love them and look forward to them. Chewy's price is much lower than buying from the vet, plus I get free shipping and the convenience of auto-ship. I am very pleased.

What has happened outrageous price increases
This product was fairly good. But it did have issues like inconsistent sizes and thickness of the chews for medium size dogs. Then all of a sudden the price doubles. Really. What’s that all about. From 10-11 dollars to over 20 dollars 30 in some cases. Virbac did this with their veggie dent chews. I really like that product until they went from 10-11 dollars a bag to over 20 dollars a bag or more.
Clean breath and teeth
After reading reviews, decided to try these. We have used them for several months, give as a treat once a day. Our dog looks forward to it. Our vet recommended cleaning after our last visit but we put it off. Just had visit and there was no mention of tarter buildup. Great product. Love the auto ship and the ability to manage my shipments. Hope they get the x large back in stock soon and they aren't discontinued.
Ok but not as good as C.E.T. HEXtra
We had been using CET chews for some time, on the advice of our vet. Not knowing that was more than one type, we purchased the CET HEXtra extra large chews. But the cost keeps going up, so we decided to try the CET enzymatic, as they are considerably less expensive. Our golden retriever enjoys them, but they are much thinner than the HEXtra version, so I have my doubts as to whether or not they clean as well. I think in this case, the old saying, "you get what you pay for" applies.
Disappointed
Disappointed in this product. I have been buying these for years. I ordered four bags this time and was disappointed in the size and thickness of the rawhide. So thin that my two small dogs chewed it in one minute. These are the medium size so they should be bigger and thicker than the small. They measured about 1 1/2 inches and paper thin. Will not buy again. Getting ready to open the fourth bag to see if they are the same thin small size. I use these for teeth cleaning and with the size being so small it has no benefit to use if my two dogs chew them so fast. Fourth bag was better. Need a refund on three of the bags or replaced.
The Best Purchase!
My dog loves these! These Dog Chews not only are so good for her teeth but just as good for getting rid of some of that energy that she has!! They have come in super handy especially since we just had to have TPLO surgery and are having to keep her low key for recovery! These Chews have helped us all get some sleep at night!!
My Dog is Addicted
My dog loves this so much you would think its a drug lol She goes insane when she sees me get the bag. She eats it so quickly i break it and put it in her Kong for more of a challenge. After she finishes she furiously searches the house for more. Last night she even lifted up her bed to check underneath lol This makes me very happy, it is extremely hard to brush her teeth. I do see an improvement in the tartar of her back teeth.
Favorite toy!
Dogs love the challenge of chewing this down to nothing and they are remarkably good at keeping teeth and getting teeth clean. Have 2 Huskies And they chew on one daily. It is tracked by them on their daily schedule to the minute and then they bark!
