Poor quality
Never had a problem with this food before. The last 2 bags that I received through "autoship" were almost completely dust. I am highly dissatisfied with this last shipment. If this is what the kind of product the company plans to put out I will discontinue using it.
Biggest mistake I’ve ever made
I took my guinea pig to the emergency vet where he was diagnosed with a bladder stone. They told me that Vitakraft food is not good for guinea pigs and was likely the cause of his stone. I just spent $4500 on his medical care. Do not buy this food.
nice blend
My critter liked this product pretty well..there was a lot of crumble dust in the bag which is a bit wasteful but there is a lot of nutrition and a variety of goodies

G-pigs love it
Speedy delivery and the g-pigs do not seem to have an issue with bloating with this food. This mixed with some hard chew toys keeps them nice and healthy and always ready for feeding time.
this bag has been just all dust and crumbles..
I’ve purchased this before for my lil guy and he usually loves it. This particular last bag I got seems to be 50% just “dust and crumbles” like the very bottom of the bag but all the way through from the top. None of the usual kibble and other things. Disappointed.

My guinea pigs tried this food once when the shop was out of their regular food. They all but stand in the bowl waiting for me to pour it in. They both wildly purr about it. Now I now order the big bag from chewie.com!
