Our dachshund's on a sodium restricted diet. His vet recommended this brand. We used to feed him Blue Buffalo canned. This brand is more expensive than what we were paying for Blue Buffalo. Once we transitioned from Blue Buffalo to this, he picked at first, but now eats it without a problem when I add cooked rice. The consistency/appearance is creamy to an extent. Probably due to the oatmeal. Giving 3 stars due to price, consistency and having to add rice.

No chicken or salmon!

My dog is allergic to chicken and salmon. His skin breaks out with draining bumps (sorry, gross). He stinks and the house stinks. This food doesn’t contain his allergens

My uber-picky Border Collie says this food is not appetizing. He will let it sit in a bowl all day after only a bite or two if he even eats a bite. That said, he turns up his nose at any food with lamb as the primary protein source. Don't know why, but for him, there are more appealing options in the Wellness line up.

Bland Diet

I really appreciate this brand and them providing a nice easy on the tummy option to dogs who have stomach issues or are under the weather. My dog is really picky

I really appreciate this brand and them providing a nice easy on the tummy option to dogs who have stomach issues or are under the weather. My dog is really picky and usually loves lamb, but unfortunately she will only reluctantly eat it or not at all. It’s basically grey and mushy. If you have a pooch that’s not super picky (I think mine has a texture hang up) then I’m sure it will be great.
