There’s small bones in this. Sharp fish bones. When my girls had finished the majority of it, I noticed something and picked it out- A fish bone. God forbid it would have gotten stuck in their throats!
Was looking for a high quality, fairly high protein seafood flavor without tuna to switch to when we stopped feeding kitten food. Tried a few Weruva and Tiki Cat varieties and this one was one of Mitzi's favorites.
I find Weruva to be quality food for my senior cat. I discovered that he was allergic to chicken and chicken is highly used. Since putting him on fish, his constant sneezing diminished. He does tire of the same ole thing though. He also has chronic pancreatitis and loses his appetite every few months. The tops of the cans could be thinner and easier to remove.
6 very satisfied cat-omers. They love the mackerel chunks.
One of the few things my 14 the old cat will eat! Easy to digest.
Our kitties love thus brand and flavor, and we love that it has what it says in it on the can (ie no chicken when it's a fish flavor). Its whole fish chunks so some pin bones make it in, and usually its nir a problem. But lately ther have been SO many more that I can't find them all, and our cats keep puking it up right after eating it. They are fine otherwise, so that's been our conclusion. We're not buying it again until the product is more filtered, just in case.
Diahhrea, vomiting. Disappointed to have to say, but these were the reactions in our cats.
