This food has been formulated as a complete and balanced diet so it may be fed on it's own. Fresh water and fresh hay should be available at all times.

The combination of ingredients was the selling point

For some reason, all of our piggies started protesting their other food so I decided to slowly change over to this brand. Days 1 and 2 ,they cleaned their bowls

For some reason, all of our piggies started protesting their other food so I decided to slowly change over to this brand. Days 1 and 2 ,they cleaned their bowls. It seems , the honeymoon phase is already over and we are throwing out more than usual. Only one pig gets excited when she hears the bag open...while the others stay uninterested,but will gradually graze through most of their serving. As of right now, it is too soon to tell if this one is a keeper.

Good brand and good nutrition.

Our guineas love this food, they are not picky and eat just certain pieces they eat it all. I have found other brands where they pick and choose what they eat

The size of the bag and the price was a draw.

My guinea pigs would eat a little bit of the product but then waste 90% of it. I donated it to a local animal rescue center.

Beware, contains alfalfa and corn fillers

My piggies love this food, but I only give it to them as an occasional treat. The primary ingredient is alfalfa meal. Alfalfa should only be fed to pregnant females

My piggies love this food, but I only give it to them as an occasional treat. The primary ingredient is alfalfa meal. Alfalfa should only be fed to pregnant females and younger guinea pigs. I also notice that some of the primary ingredients listed in this feed are cornmeal, sunflower seed meal, and there’s quite a bit of wheat products listed. These are not considered high-quality food ingredients for guinea pigs. Timothy hay based food with little to minimal fillers should be the primary food staple for young adult and mature piggies. In fact, 80 or 90 percent of their diet should be fresh hay, so if you can eliminate food pellets altogether, that’s best. That said, this food is probably a better quality feed than what you’ll find with Kaytee or other similar pet store products, but it’s certainly not ideal for piggies as a daily feed.

Loves this food!

He can't wait to dig into this food every morning. The variety of pieces make him finish his entire bowl and ask for more.
