Feeding Instructions

Great variety
This food gives a great variety of textures and flavors for the rats to enjoy. One of my ratty boys eats everything, the other, who is a pickier eater, will leave the processed nuggets and will only eat if I leave them and dont offer other foods. I like the variety to keep their meals interesting for them. I offer a large variety of fresh and other foods along with this, and they look forward to digging around and finding their choice pieces in this food.
My daughter's rats love it.
I think this is one of the better options out there. It has quite an array of different items in the bag to feed rats. Dried fruits, vegetables, peanuts, dried meal worms, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds. When we feed the 3 girls they pick out their favorites first and then finish off the rest after.
Squirrel love
My squirrel loves this food. Had since a baby when he was found injured by my dog. He’ll never be able to be released so it’s important to find him good healthy food. This is it.
Not for rats
While the ingredients listed on Chewy did not disclose specifically that the product contains alfalfa, it does contain a significant amount of alfalfa. For omnivores like rats (and to some extent mice), that excess fiber is not ideal for their digestion. I hope the description is updated to specify the ingredients!

Great snack
This is a good option for treats and helping a shy rat to trust. Too many options to pick and choose so I wouldn't suggest it as a daily meal. But I like all the mix INs for enrichment snack time or foraging.
