  • Why did I buy this?

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Looking back, I guess the real reason I bought this food was because I was in a hurry to get some kitten food. There's no flavor or specific meat associated with this food. Though it says "healthy kitten recipe" in a cute, fancy font right on the front, it also says "ALL LIFE STAGES" right next to it in all caps, block font. Upon closer inspection, the main meat in this food is chicken. I don't totally love this food because, frankly, it confuses me. Ash content also kinda high. Regardless, the kitten and cats gobbled it all up, so I guess I'll keep this on the "may get again" list.

  • Our fosters love this food

    By on

Purchased this food for our foster kittens and nursing momma. They all gobble it up. Best part about this food is that it doesn't make their poop smell as bad as other brands. We had to put some warm water in it and make sort of a soup at first to get the kittens to try it, but now they're eating it just fine.

  • Quality kitten food at a reasonable price

My 4 month old kitten, Cerys, loves this! I like Chewy because I have cats, dogs, and birds and I don't have to go to multiple stores for their supplies and then carry it all home.

  • Kitties like it...

but mama is not too keen on it. I give it 4 stars because the kids like it. The consistency is a bit weird to me. I’m not a cat food consistency guru, but something just seems weird to me about this particular brand. It looks gritty to me. It’s not, but hey, presentation is everything when you serve food. It doesn’t have as much gravy as Blue Wilderness. It’s impossible to rinse off the lid of the can. That kind of freaks me out. Weird, I know. But what makes it stick to the can that way? I was looking for something a bit cheaper than Blue Wilderness while maintaining quality with good ingredients and this is what I ended up with. I wouldn’t not recommend it but my preference is Blue Wilderness but mama is not too keen on it. I give it 4 stars because the kids like it. The consistency is a bit weird to me. • I Like It But Kitties Are Not Thrilled

    By on

Great ingredients but two out of four cats do not like it and the two cats that will eat it never finish it. To be fair my two old ladies are very picky but the others are not thrilled with it either. It is worth a try if your cats aren't too picky....It's a great price for great ingredients...still on the hunt for something they all like

  • Love this kitten food

    By on

My kitten loves her food and thankfully she likes both the wet and dry versions. Her fur is silky smooth and is growing up very well. I feel comfortable knowing that the ingredients are healthy and most importantly grain free. It is a little smelly but what animal food doesn't? The price isn't so bad especially knowing that I'm not feeding her junk. Will be sticking to this brand when switching to adult food in the future.

  • Both rescue kittens love this food!

    By on

We rescued two fourteen week old kittens from a high kill shelter, and they were eating Friskies or Fancy Feast wet food there. We purchased a few cans of Whole Earth Farms as recommended by a PetValu employee and our cats ADORE it. Their coats are shinier and they no longer have chemical weapon grade farts like they did on the cheap food. This food is a truly healthy option that is also budget friendly.
