My cat was at her vet twice and went to the emergency animal hospital once with serious constipation issues. She's a high strung cat to begin with, so all the poking, enemas, laxatives and car rides averaging 2 hours round trip have left her traumatized and in fear of the litter box. It's been a long process getting her back to using a box. We added the booster to both her old box, clean with fresh litter, and a new box with a new litter. She went on the basement floor! Eventually, she used her old box with new brand of litter. So, not sure the booster actually helped.

I think this is worth trying when your cat has changed litterbox habits and medical issues have been ruled out. We were also trying to get our cat to pee in the middle or back of the litterbox instead of over the front edge. It did not work, but I don't think that's this booster's fault. She didn't change her habits negatively, either, so it's not like this was off-putting. The booster has a nice smell for humans as well.

we use a corn litter for our (rescue) cats so i was looking forward to this product being an easy add-in. not so much. the corn in this booster is much harder and

we use a corn litter for our (rescue) cats so i was looking forward to this product being an easy add-in. not so much. the corn in this booster is much harder and rougher than their corn-based litter and as anyone with a cat knows, their paws are super sensitive. so, instead of spreading the booster around when covering their, um, "deposits" in the litter boxes, they kind of dug underneath it - down to their softer corn litter - to push it away. might work for you if your cats already use a harder type of litter but for us, it didn't.

Six cats, 1 house, 2 pans, 3 floors. One camera to monitor my upstairs pan bc one cat tends to do her business outside the box with no rhyme or reason, so this product was perfect for us to test! During the duration of testing there was only one accident so I think that it did make a difference in our home. It didn't have any offensive odor,in fact smelled kind of planty. The container was a great size. The cats didn't seem to be bothered either. I'd definitely continue on to purchase.
