Amazing and cost effective!
I'm so excited to have found this product! Our cat has urinary tract problems and crystals and this food is not only cheaper and easier to acquire than other veterinary diets, I noticed that other brand rx diets can still contain caraganeen where this one does not. Organic and healthy, it also blends into a perfect consistency with our kitties supplements. I'd give it a 10/10 if I could.
AWESOME AND WORKS
I do not understand the negative reviews and I am so happy that my cats LOVE this. Our older boy had crystals and blood in his urine. After 1 week with this along with Forza10 dry food https://www.chewy.com/forza10-nutraceutic-active-urinary/dp/209852 he is clear. This is clean, humanely made and much less expensive than the prescription food. It does have a strong smell because it is actual food. I love that it is semi-liqud as that gives the cats more water in their diet.
Mostly liquid now
I have been buying this food for a long time because it’s better than most of the urinary care prescription cat foods. Early in the pandemic, the same thing happened where it was mostly liquid and very little food. It was corrected and now it is back again to being mostly liquid. I’m not going to take chances anymore that it will come with the amount of food that’s promised on the label.
Purina seems to be at it again
I was a Merrick wet cat food person for years. Purina bought them out. They completely changed the recipes - really cheapened them but still charged premium prices. My cats wouldn't touch the new one. I felt so badly for the people whose cats were on Castor and Pollux (sp?). Read their reviews on chewy. The pics here of changes in the food reinforces how we are at their mercy while doing everything we can to keep our pets safe and healthy. I may still try this one as I'm getting desperate to find urinary/kidney food they will eat. I had to give a rating without trying it - put a 3 based on other reviews.
Delicious UR food
Wow. This is a complete hit with all 6 of my babies. It is filled with moisture and nutritious goodness!
Female cats love this
My male cats (one with a uti issue) won't touch this food, was hoping I could use it in case the prescription diet is unavailable. On the other hand both of my finicky female cats love this food. These two are the most finicky eaters, was in a real pinch last year when they turned down everything we gave them. Once they tried this, there was no looking back.
Something wrong with this case
My cats love this food. The new case I opened has a very different food in the cans. It's dark and loose and they won't touch it. I had a can left from the case before and I opened that and they ate it right up. Bad batch or something. Inconsistencies like this shouldn't happen. Not for the price point that's for sure.
Cats won't eat this food
I bought this food to split with a friend whose cat has bladder stones. My 3 cats are diabetic, and I wanted to feed it to mine also. While I believe the Wysong brand is very good, none of our cats would eat this food, so it was an expensive mistake to buy it.
it is working!
This food is working on keeping my cat healthy along with some herbal medicine. There isn’t too many options out there anyways. All the prescribed ones are Poor quality and the other ones are full of unnecessary and harmful fillers.
wholesome and yummy
Wholesome good quality ingredients, he likes it! nice and moist; it will help with his bladder and urinary tract; very convenient it's not prescription. I got the wet and I got the dry food also.
