Cat loves it but stability is questionable

This tower was easy to put together and my cat immediately loved it. She likes to jump on it and take naps in the hammock and perch. I’ve had this a couple months

This tower was easy to put together and my cat immediately loved it. She likes to jump on it and take naps in the hammock and perch. I’ve had this a couple months and the structure is definitely less stable now. I’ll probably need to replace it sooner than later. While my cat loves it, I don’t think the quality is worth it. I wouldn’t buy again.

It was not hard to put together. Just follow the instructions. There were a couple of extra pieces that were not needed, and a short strap by one of the poles that didn’t reach anywhere and couldn’t be attached to anything. Odd. It is smaller than I expected. My cat is 15 pounds and just barely fits in the top perch if he curls up. The hammock is small, about half his size, maximum, so he can’t use it. If you have a 5 pound cat, it would fit in the hammock. My cat does scratch his claws on the bottom and the posts, which so far are not showing any signs of damage, which is good. The cat tree is behind a sofa and instead of trying to climb the cat tree, he jumps on the top of the sofa and then gets on the top perch to look out on the patio. He likes being on top of it so he can look down on the birds and a squirrel who frequents the birdbath for water. The morning after I put the cat tree together, he was already on the perch, looking out the patio glass door.

PAWSITIVES: - this was my cat’s favorite space to sleep and play in the whole house - he loved playing with the bell-ball on a string, ripping apart the cactus, and using the scratch pad near the base of the tower - assembly of the tower was fairly straightforward and didn’t take long to put together REVIEW: I bought this mid-sized cat tower for the fun design but unfortunately the quality was not there. Within a couple months, parts of the tower were wobbly, and now the top cardboard cushion is broken. I guess my 10 lb cat was too much for it to handle lol. I’d recommend upgrading to sturdier cat tower, because this one was not worth the price for less than a year of use.

My cat loved the hammock....but I have had many cat trees through the years and most I got 5+ years out of...this one lasted a year...and literrally fell apart....whenever she tried to go up, it was all wobbly...and it was NOT able to be tightened at all....we finally gave up and got another one...SAVE your money....it looks cute...and would be...if it stayed tight....I'd say about worthless

One of my cats is actually quite slender, and the top perch is too small for her to get comfortable on now that she’s full grown. But the style is super cute and my cats love the scratching post! Just wish it was bigger and sturdier.

Fun for older cat; not sturdy

This cat tree is fantastic but it’s not for large cats. Ruffles is 9 lbs and the tree rotates a bit from her weight when she’s in the basket. I think a slightly larger cat would be okay but I wouldn’t exceed 15 lbs. I’ve had it for a year and the only thing that hasn’t held up is the scratcher at the bottom. It came un-done in several months. The ball over the basket also fell off but I’ve tied it back on several times. If you loose it you could tie another toy to the small, metal loop. All in all, this is a great tree. The fabric doesn’t shed, it was easy to assemble, and it’s survived well.
