Are these Goats farm raised in the USA and from what state(s)? Also, are the goats free of hormones & antibiotics?

Zignature only uses natural ingredients, so the meat will be antibiotic and hormone free for all formulas. The Goats are wild caught in Australia.

What is the protein content in this? Been feeding Zignature to our big guy for a long time. We now have to switch to a low protein diet though.

What is the natural flavor?

Natural flavors are concentrated, naturally derived substances designed to make pet food more appealing without adding synthetic chemicals. Pet’s Global natural flavors are made from a cooked-down broth made from parts of animals (like liver, hearts, or muscle meat) from the main protein source that the diet contains. These parts have been hydrolyzed or broken down into small peptides and amino acids through heating and pressure to release flavor compounds. For example, in the Turkey formula, the natural flavor would come from Turkey. Created through hydrolysis and careful selection of animal materials, they serve a vital role in palatability and acceptance. Natural flavor appears high on this brand's ingredient deck because it uses a liquid versus a dry palatant in the formulas, causing it to appear on the label higher than it would if a dry palatant were used.

Low fat and novel protein but dog doesn't like it

My dog has a sensitivity to chicken, lamb, pork and salmon, plus other common ingredients so finding a food for her is a challenge. She also has chronic pancreatitis

My dog has a sensitivity to chicken, lamb, pork and salmon, plus other common ingredients so finding a food for her is a challenge. She also has chronic pancreatitis so low fat is crucial. This food has none of the things she's sensitive to and the fat content is good, not great, but she's not crazy about eating it. I have to add homemade defatted ground beef and pumpkin topper to encourage her to eat but she just eats the topper and leaves the dry. The only other food that meets her needs is SquarePet low fat with whitefish so I will try that next.

I love the line of Zignature food, as my girl is allergic to chicken and chicken isn't a filler with this brand but this formula caused horrific gas in my dog. I

Love the Zignature line of products. My dog has always loved this stuff. And not long ago, they added probiotics to the recipe! This is the ONLY dry dog food

Good option for dogs with food sensitivities

My dog with a chicken and salmon allergy does well on this, I rotate between this and the kangaroo variety so she doesn’t get bored.

Low fat compared to other foods. I have a dog with GERD.
