Cartridges

I love the cartridges, because it is disposable. it is the filter I seem to always have a problem with not working properly or not at all.. just had to purchase new one. Why should I keep on buying filters.

Overall these are good filters I like how it’s already to use . The only pet I would change is the size or quantity . I try to buy in bulk .

Not bad, not great

The cartridges themselves aren’t that bad, they seem to do what they’re there for. However, the filter itself doesn’t seem to run so well. You’ll probably have to replace them more frequently than with other systems.

Dense material; filters well

I always bought Tetra filters cartidges after trying Zilla, which are more expensive than Tetra but the Zilla filters are better to me and worth it. Comparing the two filer materials, Zilla is denser therefore it filters more waste/debris and it last longer then the Tetra filters. I have a 75 gallon tank with two 40 gallon Zilla's filter machines, having four turtles (big poopers). My tank is crystal clear and clean. Tip: I use 3 filter cartridge's per each 40 gallon filter machine.

These are very overpriced!

In my opinion these filter cartridges are very over priced, especially considering the fact that the zilla aquarium filter they are used for doesn't even work well, and doesn't keep the tank clean. Compared to other aquarium filter cartridges these are over priced.
