The Zilla Turtle Miracle Ball is a simple, effective solution that helps maintain a cleaner and healthier habitat with minimal effort, but it does take time to work like most bio additives. One of the best features is that the ball is completely clear and nearly invisible once it’s in the tank. It doesn’t distract from the look of the aquarium or take attention away from your turtle, which is a big plus for display tanks. Just drop it in and let it do the work—each ball treats up to 50 gallons of water. I attached a photo so you can see (or can’t see!) the clear orb. My turtles tank using Zilla Miracle Gel Ball

The Zilla Turtle Miracle gel ball is inside a container with some sorta liquid around it. I dipped the gel ball out of the liquid and placed just the gel ball inside

The Zilla Turtle Miracle gel ball is inside a container with some sorta liquid around it. I dipped the gel ball out of the liquid and placed just the gel ball inside my turtles tank. I took photos of what the actual ball looks like for reference. I placed the gel ball directly into my turtle tanks water. Overall, I believe the product has been effective in helping to keep my turtle tank a little cleaner, but I clean the tanks at least once a week. After I placed the ball in the water it looked like it completely dissolved. The one thing that I disliked about the product was its container. I had a difficult time getting the lid off.

I used the Zilla Turtle Miracle Ball in the fish tank at work, unfortunately I didn’t get a before picture so it’s just my word, but I do think it made the water

I used the Zilla Turtle Miracle Ball in the fish tank at work, unfortunately I didn’t get a before picture so it’s just my word, but I do think it made the water less murky. It seemed to pretty instantly kill our large snail, however, whether or not that was coincidental is unknown, the other two smaller snails are fine. I’m guessing either it was shipped on an airplane or Colorados altitude is too high for it, because it wasn’t a ball when delivered, just thick liquid inside the tub.

The Zilla Turtle Miracle "Ball" arrived as a liquid in a well-sealed container (no leaks and not a big deal). After a routine partial water change in my yellow-bellied sliders 55 gallon tank (holding about 45 gallons considering the gravel at the bottom and space at the top for basking) I added the Miracle Ball liquid to the tank. Next morning the water was super clear and has stayed so since I used it about a week ago. I like the idea that the product is beneficial bacteria and enzymes, unlike some other aquarium products for clearing the water. The mild odor associated with my turtles tank has also disappeared. I'm uncertain how regularly I would use the product, due to its cost, but that is for each individual to decide based on their needs and results.

This is the strangest item. At first I thought that there wasn’t anything in the container except a gooey gel. I got it out after a couple of days of trying to figure out what was in there. I put it in Pokey’s tank and at first couldn’t see it. But it’s like a ghost. You can’t see it, but you can. Very strange. But it looks like it’s working as it has collected some bits and pieces floating around the tank. I’m mesmerized by it. I noticed that our tank has no odor so that’s a big plus. My only concern is that Pokey might try to eat it. But as it seems to be working better than other products we will definitely get this product again. So far it seems amazing.

I have a friend that just adopted 3 aquatic turtles that were abandoned. She is learning as she goes and is a great mama so I thought this would be a nice gift especially since they share a habitat! She said within just a couple of hours the side walls were less slimy and the overall smell was better. They are eventually moving to a bigger habitat but the bioboost treatment definitely works!

We all know how dirty water turtles are and mine are no exception. This is super easy to put in the tank - just plop the ball in and so far so good - the water is clear! I liked that it wasn’t a liquid I had to measure - it is already done. It is the perfect amount for my tank. Ii did notice less water odor, which I attribute to adding this product. This will not take the place of filter management but I am hoping that it will decrease the amount of times I need to clean my external filter.
