Uvb 6 month change

Reptile's uvb must be changed every 6 months. I've been using these bulbs for over 9 years. They work great and help prevent metabolic bone disease.

Burning out in 2-3 months

I have used these bulbs for my box turtle for years. I set reminders to replace every year and check the UV output regularly. The last couple of bulbs have been

I have used these bulbs for my box turtle for years. I set reminders to replace every year and check the UV output regularly. The last couple of bulbs have been completely and suddenly failing at about 2-3 months. Not fading or declining in UV output, just going completely dead. They also appeared visibly dimmer when new. I am going to looks for a new brand of bulb. Finding T5 fixtures and bulbs is getting harder as the trend is toward LEDs, which don’t emit UV, and I do not want/need a heat lamp for my setup.

Awesome packaging!

Ok at first this thing looks silly and unnecessary on my steps... I get inside with it open it up and I see how well protected this bulb was ! I'm super thankful!
