Sturdy and cute but heating pad doesn’t work

I got this for my indoor/outdoor cat who was driving me crazy wanting to go out in below freezing temps. It’s a pretty decent size and comes with insulated panels

I got this for my indoor/outdoor cat who was driving me crazy wanting to go out in below freezing temps. It’s a pretty decent size and comes with insulated panels that do keep it a little warmer than outside. But the heating pad doesn’t work. And to chewy’s defense, they sent me a whole new one for free so I could get another heating pad. But it’s exactly the same. It barely heats. So I guess I’ll have to buy another heating pad separately? I would also say that this feels more dangerous outside than I previously had thought. I have a car port with a plug and if it rained, I’m pretty sure my cat would get electrocuted and die. So maybe this would be good in a screened in patio or garage? If you got the heating pad you would def need to keep an eye on it because again, it could be dangerous.

Not sure about this yet.

This heated cat house is easy to put together but the pad doesn't get warm enough. The instructions are too basic with no help on how to make it more efficient

This heated cat house is easy to put together but the pad doesn't get warm enough. The instructions are too basic with no help on how to make it more efficient. My cats don't even go in it but they do use the less expensive heated house with soft sides from another company. I have tried asking for help through their customer service but no one will reply. Very frustrating. (I have a camera in the barn so I can see what my 2 barn cats are doing.)

Our cat really enjoys this house.

We bought this heated house for our outdoor cat as temperatures get cold here in the Pacific Northwest. This house was relatively easy to assemble and looks good

The heated pad fit nicely and the sides, floor, and ceiling are insulated to reduce heat loss. Our cat spends a lot of time in this house.

Thin wood

For the price the wood was pretty thin and one of the houses I ordered did not have pre drilled holes. Wasn't sure where to screw in the plastic flaps or the overhang

Missing hinges for roof attachment

The sides never went together properly- they weren’t flush, because the screws didn’t go all the way in. There was a big gap between the panels. I tried wood glue

I tried wood glue and caulk to fill the gaps, but then the roof didn’t go on properly (but the hinges were missing, so I’m glad I didn’t buy two hinges before I undertook the debacle of assembling this thing!

Wish it had a grounded heating pad

House itself is ok, should have better screws and predrilled holes for roof. My main concern was that the heating pad is only a 2 prong plug, not a 3 prong grounded

Was more light weight than I expected. One board was cracked, but we put it together anyway and it seems like it will hold together fine. Think the cats stay warm

Very disappointed

My baby S'more went missing 3 weeks ago. I ordered this house in case he comes home during the night & I'm not up to let him in. The parts of the house were not

My baby S'more went missing 3 weeks ago. I ordered this house in case he comes home during the night & I'm not up to let him in. The parts of the house were not all marked. This said outdoor heated cat house yet it says if it starts to overheat or you smell a charred smell to unplug it. I got this for a reason. I rescued a Mama cat & her 3 babies 4 years ago. They have the best life ever. They are inside cats but go out & play a little during the day. I didn't realize I needed to sit up all night to make sure this outdoor cat house doesn't overheat. I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone

We have a cat outside out business that won’t let us get too close loves this heated house. We have it set up in a protected area where they can relax and get out
