Not may favorite K&H Cat Cabin
This is just average. Yes, it does have the good quality heating element that comes with the heated K&H products. But, it only has one entry. I prefer the Kitty Cabins that have two entries - one in front and one in back in case the cat is threatened and needs a quick exit. This is important for me anyway, because I have several cats; occasionally they will squabble about who has dibs on the Cabin - and it's good that they can make a quick exit if the argument gets nasty. Also, due to its dome shape it is EXTREMELY difficult to zip up all the way.
Cute and cozy
We have outside cats that we try to keep warm in the winter. Needed another house so I picked this one. It is placed under our porch so she is out of the elements and she is very snug. I did not use the plastic door though so she can feel safer getting out
Great Kitty Condo
We have two of these next to our house for a couple of strays we take care of. The cats love these houses! They are sturdy, last for years, and are easy to clean Highly Recommend. Note - we live in south TX so do not know how they would do in extreme cold temps.
Not effective
The heating pad only heats the back half of the house and my cat feels safer with her head near the opening. Instructions are very specific about having the house on the ground and no other pads inside. Too hard of a surface. Would recommend K&H House over this. Donating it.

Product is well-engineered and the cost was very reasonable. The design and quality are excellent. The shipping was remarkable. It was delivered from PA to MA in less than 24 hours - using "Standard" shipping.
Happy Cat
I just got this and can not speak to how well it will hold up but I can show how much this cat loves it. It was a cold rainy weekend and she was inside staying nice and cozy. She is a large cat and she fits with room to spare.
Melted the shelter
I bought the heated outdoor shelter for one of our cats. The heating pad always stayed on and now melted through the plastic lining. The entire heating pad now has a brown circle on it and a melted plastic smell.
Poor purchase
Heating pad doesn't work. It was warming when using for the first time. Then it just guit working. Actually shelter is nice but disappointed with heating pad.
it’s not weatherproof
I don’t care for this. It gets wet in rain even under cover and on the inside. And they heating pad doesn’t get that warm. Do t recommend
The cat house was not something that could be put together!!! We ended up putting it back in the box and putting the heated pad in a regular box!
