Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

My ferret vet has recommended this in the past for my ferrets because of liver issues. Dosing and recommendations on how to give were provided by a vet. The milk thistle in this is the key support amongst other items. I have seen this product decrease the elevated LFTs in a couple of my ferrets lab values so I continue to use it for all my ferrets as a prophylactic maintenance supplement.
This is so much better than the denamarin tablets. This works much and and can just add it to their food.
I wish I had read the description more carefully. This is an ALCOHOL extract, 20% ALCOHOL by volume. Not exactly something I want to give for liver health. Will be tossing it out. I wish there was a big warning box for products that contain alcohol. As usual though, Chewy delivers fast and is the best.
This is a new product to us, so not sure it will be beneficial to Maggie, a pit-mix. She has tumors in her liver, so hoping this will help the liver stay strong for a little while longer.
I just started giving my dog this, hopefully it will help her.
I have not seen improvement in my dog since adding this to her food
My holistic vet has me use this for 10-14 days following heartworm prevention tablet on my dogs to help detox. But use everyday on my 14 year old girl. Works great! Her liver is strong and healthy.
I didnt think he’d like the taste or eat it straight from the dropper, but he did. In fact, he tried to take the dropper from me. He gets excited when I pull the bottle out. It is very decently sized for the price. My dog was diagnosed with lymes disease, which can cause serious liver damage, so I thought I would try this, he seems good so far and he greatly enjoys it!
I've been using the Liver Defense or the Milk Thistle for a year for a pekingese who showed some elevated LFTs. When she was retested, after about a year, her LFTs were normal. Correlation is not causation, but this is the only thing that changed about her diet or lifestyle, so I will continue to give this to her. FYI, she's a rescue, so we don't know exactly how old she is, but the best guess is around 10.
Ever since I started my 7 lb chihuahua on this product, his red cell aplacia has improved. I don't know if giving him this product was the only reason for improvement, but I give it a thumbs up for overall health.
