I have two cats and I got this litter hoping it would be a natural litter with the odor absorbing benefits of clay litters and it turned out to be just that. Since getting this litter my home has smelled astronomically better. When my cats use it once they cover their stool the smell disappears. I will say when opening the bag the smell is quite strong which makes the all natural portion questionable but it is a good smell and it actually makes the room the litter box is in smell good as well and when compared to the dust smell of clay litters I’d say this is a huge improvement. This litter has absolutely no dust at all even when being thrown around by my cats and clumps pretty well. The thing I love is this litter doesn’t stick to the litter box close to as much as clay litters making it way easier to clean. The only quality of this litter I don’t like is the tracking. I’ve had to go from vacuuming once a week to about 2-3 times a week to keep up with the mess my cats are brining out of the box with them. Besides that this litter is amazing and id definitely recommend it and will continue to use it.
This is the worst litter. It’s so dusty when I scoop out the litter box, that I wear the Covid masks I have left over, so that I don’t breathe in a cloud of dust and fumes. I have an anti-litter tracking mat around the litter box, and it still sticks to my cats paws, so the granules are tracked all around the surrounding area. It does NOT mask or hide urine odors. Awful product and do not recommend it. Sad because I love that it’s environmentally friendly.
Clumps nicely. Composts nicely. But has way too much fragrance in it for me and for the cats. Cats have a well developed sense of smell and if this overwhelms me with too much perfume, I'm sure it's too strong for the cats. Will be trying unscented, natural pine pellets next time around.
I didn't read the ad close enough and I didn't realize it was scented. The scent was so powerful that none of my cats were willing to use the litter and it stunk up the whole house. We had to throw the litter away and use an air purifier to be able to go back into the house. Not a fan and wouldn't recommend.
This litter is a nice more natural alternative to clay, however the added "fresh scent" is quite overpowering. The scent does dissipate a bit over time, but it would be good to offer an unscented alternative. The natural wood smell would be preferable.
I love this litter because it’s natural and very light. However, because it is so light it gets tracked all through the house on the cat’s paws which makes a mess to clean up every day.
Positives: Dust free and odor control, smells good Negatives: Could clump better and can be messy if you don't have a litter mat. Overall will continue to purchase as cats like it, it controls odor and no dust!
I've tried many litters for my 2 male cats, but thus litter is the best!. Easy to sift thru and my cats love it. I've gone back to other litters when I couldn't find the Arm & Hammer naturals, and it reminded me how much this litter works! I refuse to go back.
It smells nice, cats seem to like it and cheaper than Worlds Best but does not clump as well as Worlds Best.
I could not be more pleased with this litter. Low dust, no tracking (even with my super furry Maine Coon!) and very light. I have this on auto ship!
