After I lift it out and sift it, how is it put back into the box so the litter is in it once again?

To clean, pour the contents of the top dirty litter pan into the empty pan with the sifter tray on top. Then lift the sift tray out of the second litter pan to sift clumps out of litter. Discard clumps from the sifter tray in a trash receptacle. Place the empty sifter tray into the empty litter pan. Place litter pan with now cleaned litter on top. Add more clean litter as needed.

Can the cats get their claws stuck in the holes?

The sifting tray must be placed between the two litter pans without holes in them. Your pet does not come in contact with the sifting tray. Please check the image for reference.

How much dead space is between the sifter pan and the solid pans?

There is hardly any space in between pans.They fit tightly.

Perfect for Pine Litter Sifting-Fits perfectly in the A&H Top Entry Pan

I had been meaning to upgrade our litter box ever since we switched to pine litter. We ended up purchasing this Arm & Hammer Sifting Pan as well as three (3) Arm

I had been meaning to upgrade our litter box ever since we switched to pine litter. We ended up purchasing this Arm & Hammer Sifting Pan as well as three (3) Arm & Hammer Top Entry Pans (Large) which is a different product listing, sold separately. To my absolute delight, I found that the white sifting tray sits PERFECTLY in the top entry box, allowing me to pour all the litter into the white sifting tray, then shake to quickly (and I mean QUICKLY) sift the sawdust down directly into the top entry pan for dumping. Although this is not an advertised use of the products and I’m doing this at my own risk, the pans all seem sturdy enough, so I don’t think this will cause any issues long term. I was going to post a photo, but I don’t want anyone to get confused and think that both pans come with this product listing. This along with the other A&H pans has made our pine litter set up so much simpler. It was a bit of an investment ($$$) but I know we are making the right decision for a safer and more eco-friendly litter for our furry family members. No more smells, dust clouds, or tracking. I also love that this sifting pan comes with clips. I keep these pans clipped neatly together and use them exclusively for daily sifting. I suppose if I ever have a need for a fourth litter box, it can come in handy.

Can you Believe It!!??

So tired of kitty litter that has litter dust that makes you cough for days. Then I tried the corn kitty litter. It's been a couple of weeks and it's wonderful not having corn dust everywhere. The other litter has clay powder and if you have breathing issues DON"T use clay powder. My entire bathroom floor was grey and when I washed the floor with my Swiffer the bottom of the mop was black. Thank goodness for finely ground corn kitty litter. Thank you Chewy.

I cannot use this littler box. I didn't read the description thoroughly and didn't understand that you had to empty one box into the other. I wanted to avoid the

I just got these today to replace the old plastic totes I've been using. I'm tired of scooping but don't trust the automatic sifters. I think arm n hammer needs

I just got these today to replace the old plastic totes I've been using. I'm tired of scooping but don't trust the automatic sifters. I think arm n hammer needs to make them bigger. My fur babies are used to litter boxes that are twice this size. The sifting part I believe will be faster to clean. I have 3 cats but I have 4 boxes available for them. I will add photos later if possible.

Great for sifting out the pine pellets for re-use

I got this as an intermediate litter box on my complicated litter box journey. When I first got the feral cats, my advisor recommended Pine Pellets, which disintegrate

I got this as an intermediate litter box on my complicated litter box journey. When I first got the feral cats, my advisor recommended Pine Pellets, which disintegrate when urinated upon. So, you can sift out the still-solid pellets for re-use. There's a super fancy system described in a YouTube video that makes this even easier using the Breeze litter box, and that was GREAT until I figured out that my cats much preferred the sawdust to the intact pellets. I have since switched to the very high-sided very large litter boxes and Sustainably Yours mixed grain litter. It's a little pricey, but it almost makes scooping the box fun.

Order great, delivery not

1st box was delivered correctly and put at gate. Same directions for 17 years. 2nd box of rest of cat pans was brought back later and looked like it was randomly
