Doing SUB-Q fluids on cats. Compared to some other ones we've tried the roller clamp is a bit more finely controllable, as in allowing one to stop at any point in going from slow IV speed drips to fast IV drips to full stream. Other line sets often just jump from slow drips to max flow too quick, this tends to disturb some cats; particularly if the temp isn't warm enough. We tend to do about a minute of drips to form a pocket of fluid before going full blast. This set is also the longest length we've found. Though occasionally the line is a bit harder to keep untangled it makes it handy to do an animal where they happen to be rather than relocating them. Our current old cat (19) doesn't mind being relocated, but we've had a few (and doing it for other folks) where being able to just do it at the cat tree etc. has been great. Just a quick note: We heat people style microwave heating packs (plastic filled with blue gel) then wrap the IV bags (Ringer's solution) with them to warm it. We kind of wrap the bag with the line set so it gets warmed too. Making sure the clamps are outside the warming pads, otherwise they tend to "weld" the line shut. Massaging the line opens it back up, but taking the time while a pet is waiting can be a problem.

Affordable and quality

Costs only 1/4 what my vet charges and is high quality. None have had even a crimp in the line. Delivers sub cutaneous fluid quickly, generally done with the treatment

I’m a retired RN and have set up thousands of IV bags, but the design of the ‘port’ where one insets the tubing’s spike is not great. There’s a little tab that is hard to pop off without touching and hence contaminating the rubber membrane under it. Then the membrane itself requires a vigorous push to pierce. Just not a great design, but the fluid itself is a great bargain rather than purchase at vet.

Perfect for sub Q fluids

My cat is doing so much better after fluids. This is what I used to get at the vet but less expensive and chewy shipped them well so they arrived in perfect condition!

Not sure what to say, other than they are exactly what you are purchasing. They were shipped well.
