Are these reversible?

While the slope itself is not reversible, the scratcher refills are double sided.

The sloped scratchers are not reversible. There is only one surface for cats to use and that is the sloped part. The round replacement scratchers are reversible, however.

Can it be leaned up against the back of furniture without toppling over?

Depending on positioning, the short side may be placed against furniture to prevent toppling over.

These are not very sturdy and break down quickly. I will buy another brand next time. My cat is a bit overweight, so better for smaller cat weight.

Small and lightweight, easily moved around

Not very useful, it's so lightweight that cat can't get a good grip on it and the scratcher ends up across the room.
