Bravecto is the only flea and tick treatment to last 12 weeks* with one convenient chew or topical dose. That means nearly 3X longer lasting protection than common monthly treatments. The long-lasting efficacy breaks the flea life cycle and drives fleas into extinction with one dose. And, Bravecto kills ticks faster, killing 100% of attached ticks in 12 hours – whereas other treatments can take over 48 hours.
After you give your pet Bravecto, it quickly reaches tissue fluids just under your dog's or cat's skin. When fleas and ticks feed, they ingest Bravecto and die. Bravecto Chew for Dogs starts killing fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) within 2 hours, and kills ticks (Ixodes ricinus) within 12 hours. Bravecto Chew for Dogs kills fleas, prevents flea infestations, and kills ticks (black-legged tick, American dog tick and brown dog tick) for 12 weeks. Bravecto Chew for Dogs also kills lone star ticks for 8 weeks.
In a US field study where dogs were treated at home, over 93% of dogs ate the chew voluntarily - either by itself or with food.
Bravecto has a wide margin of safety in dogs who weigh at least 4.4 lbs. and cats who weigh at least 2.6 lbs. It is also approved for puppies and kittens aged 6 months or older.
Bravecto Chew for Dogs is approved for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs.
There are no problems reported in field trials in dogs and cats that received Bravecto alongside other commonly used medicines. However, your veterinarian is your pet's health care expert, so it is always best to discuss all of your pet's treatments with them, whether prescription or over-the-counter supplements.
Immediately bathing, shampooing, or swimming should not affect how well Bravecto Chew works, as it is not a topical treatment. Coat length and grooming or brushing also have no impact on how well it works.

The product insert states that Bravecto should be administered orally as a single dose. In the case that a chew is broken or crumbles, it should be assured that the dog still receives the whole dose.

In a well-controlled laboratory study, Bravecto was shown to be safe in Collies known to be MDR-1 gene-deficient. Collies with the defect were administered 3 times the deliverable dose and had no adverse events.
If vomiting occurs, check with your veterinarian to decide whether to re-dose or not; however, if an otherwise healthy dog vomits within 3 hours of receiving Bravecto, it is recommended that the dog be re-dosed. To help ensure that the dog does not vomit again, it is suggested to wait 24 hours until re-dosing.
If 4 or more hours have passed before the vomiting occurs, it is likely that the medication has been absorbed and the dog is protected. If the vomiting repeats again, do not give a third chew, and call your veterinarian.
If you suspect that a side effect has taken place as a result of giving the dog Bravecto, please report it to Merck Technical Services at 1-800-224-5318, and follow any advice that they provide.

I got this a little over a month ago for my little dog and he has an entire nesting of fleas on him even though it's guaranteed to kill new infestations for up to 3 months... I honestly have no clue if maybe what I got was expired or something but I'm very disappointed. I know these work for sure
I was introduced to brave to a little over a year ago by my vet in Arkansas. I have now moved to Iowa and could not find Bravecto here so i ordered it from Chewy and they checked with my vet here in Iowa and shipped my order right out. Love this product.
Previously, my dog would simply eat Braveto from the palm of my hand. It was a pleasure to use it with him and very effective against ticks and fleas, but now he doesn't eat it no matter how many ways I try to hide it in his food or treats. He sniffs it out. It's a struggle!
My order was delayed but yall wouldn’t say why,, then I found out why and that’s ok.. but Natalie , a manager told me she’d be giving a $30 refund due to the delay but has since disappeared on me. She won’t even respond to my emails. Strange
Purchased item with no problem. Customer rep. was friendly, courteous and very savvy about our medication needs.
Works great. Have to put it in cheese for them to take it. Won’t chew it plain.
My dogs do very well on this with no issues. Never any fleas or ticks
I am extremely happy with the low pricing available at Chewy! The flea medicine prescribed by my veterinarian was about $20 less per chew than at the vet's office. Thank you Chewy!
I’ve had two small dogs - one that used K9 advantix and another that I’ve been using Bravecto on. I have to say that Bravecto is the worst product. The 15lb dog that uses K9 advantix has maybe had 5 ticks in 16 years. My 6lb dog on Bravecto has had 5 ticks in the past few days. I’m averaging 2 -3 a day with her. The vet wanted the smaller dog on Bravecto cause of her size, but I can’t handle all of these ticks. Switching to K9 Advantix so I don’t have to worry about ticks in my house, couch, bed. Yuck.
I sure do appreciate autoshipping. Then I don't have to think about it.
