Catalyst Pet Healthy Formula Cat Litter, 10-lb bag

I have this litter in a box next to you, the tidy cats breeze pellets. My cat Princeton will not use the catalyst litter at all. He does not the scent. It’s not strong, but for a cat that has never been exposed to any scented litter, Imit is strong enough, I guess. I have another litter box upstairs that contains only pine pellets. This morning, he could not get access to the breeze box and instead of using the catalyst litter, he went all the way upstairs to use the other box. My other cat Grover is not as picky, but given a choice, he will use the breeze box instead of the catalyst litter. As far as how it works, I don’t have a problem with clumping. I learned that if I let it sit for about a day after Grover uses it, it hardens nicely enough. Not like clay, but enough that I can scoop it without it breaking apart. I’ve learned too to be gentle with scooping and that has helped tremendously. I’m going to see if I can find a way to mask the scent. I really want my cats to use this litter because it doesn’t track as much and compared to clay. It is so much easier to clean up also.

I found the natural ffragrance of this product to be pleasant. However, my mixed feelings pertain to the fact that the litter would stick to my cat’s paws and in turn, he tracked it everywhere he walked. Now granted, my cat has recently been diagnosed hyperthyroid, and this may have something to do with his frequent urination but I ended up switching to another product.

I have always had cats. I have always used regular old cat litter. Shame on me! I bought my first bag of Catalyst, and I am never going back. Absolutely no odor from my baby's litter box....little to no tracking.....and I am amazed at how much longer before I have to change it out. I sing Catalyst's praises to all my cat moms. Thank you got such an amazing product!
