Catalyst Pet Healthy Formula Cat Litter

so bad

I rarely write a bad review. But this calls for it. My cats don’t like liners. So I put litter directly in the box and then every 2 weeks I dump it and sanitize the box. This litter basically fused with my litter box. I had to scrape the remnants out with a razor blade. It was so pasty that I couldn’t even scrub it off, I had to scrape it. Then RIP to a dish sponge and an uncomfortable amount of paper towels. It’s a nope from me. Too bad I have 5 bags thanks to auto ship.

Cats love the unscented, HATE the scented

I had been using the unscented Catalyst litter and Dr used to try the scented "Healthy Cat" type. I have multiple litterboxes with different types of litter for fussy rescues. Boxes are cleaned multiple times per day. Everyone avoided the box with the scented Catalyst. Everyone. Ended up throwing it away. They seem to be fine with the unscented which I will continue to offer. Others of my cats prefer clay or scoopable (all unscented).

Best Cat Litter Ever!!!

Catlyst is the healthiest litter. When she uses the litter box her waste hits the litter and it immediately hardens and turns into the dry litter ball that is easy to pick up and remove. It doesn’t affect the rest of the remaining litter. It cost less to use because the remaining litter is easily cleaned and can stand future elimination’s without effecting the rest of the litter. It remains dry and soft and fluffy. No clay rocks getting stuck in her paws. No smell, Catalyst is dry oderless and lasts for future use.

THE BEST

This litter is the best ever!!!! It smells so good all day long. All I can smell is a nice pine smell no stinky cats smells at all. I have 12 cats and this works wonders compared to clay litter. It clumps nicely and if the clumps do break apart they aren't all soggy and smelly. My cats love it and there is hardly any tracking. Def recommend to anyone looking to switch from clay litter.

Not for my cat

Would not recommend if you have a long-haired cat who also likes to sprint full speed out of her litterbox. It immediately tracked everywhere and pieces would get stuck in her fur too. Rarely have issues with that using my old reliable arm & hammer clay litter. Left some stars due to good odor control and clumping. Was worth the try for the environment but will not buy again.

Cat litter

There’s a lot of things about the litter I like. It covers up the smell of urine and poop. It doesn’t take much litter in terms of it clumping the stuff. This is by far the best dust free litter that I have found. The only negative I would say is that it’s so lightweight that our cats makes a mess with it when they are trying to cover up their poop and pee.

Wood litter

My friend recommended this litter to me. I love the fresh wood smell & it’s dust free. I started by mixing it with half clay litter so my 2 cats would get used to its texture. It clumps but not as well as clay. The only reason I won’t be using it is one of my cats ate some of it:( I found a log of poop that looked just like the wood litter. This has never happened before so unfortunately I will have to keep using clay.

Love it

Clumps well, smells okay, lasts a long time. I still keep another litter box for clay litter; the cats like both for different uses. Catalyst does track on the floor, but at least the product is not nearly as heavy as clay litter

I’ve always used clay litter. I saw an advertisement for this litter and decided to try it. Let me tell you it’s amazing. The clay litter always had clumps falling apart and the Catalyst litter clumps and stays clumped. There is a little dust when you clean the litter box but it’s not bad at all. My cats love this litter and I am extremely happy with it too. You never realize how clay litter looks so dirty until you use this litter. Catalyst litter always looks fresh.

DO NOT USE IN A SIFTING LITTER BOX!

It's possibly the worst litter I have ever tried. Does not clump well, clumps break apart, clean litter does not sift through the grate when tipping my manual sifting litter box. Also, the cat HATES it! He is going in front of his litter box.
