If I’m switching my dog from Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy Lamb & Rice to this food, should I mix it as if it’s a new food, or can I just switch?

We recommend at least a 7 - 10 day transition before you begin feeding the new formula exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new formula exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

Tugboat our 12 yr old St. Bernard has been eating DIAMOND NATURALS Large Breed Lamb and Rice for 9 years. We rescued him at 14 months. He had major skin, digestive, allergy issues. After a year and a half of constant vet visits, various allergy meds, several higher-end kibble brands, irregular stools; and watching him suffer through it all; our local pet shop owner/animal activist suggested DIAMOND NATURALS. The immediate results were ASTOUNDING! No more allergy meds! No more continual scratching/biting/chewing! His weight soared to a muscular 160lbs and he was as strong as a small horse; with thick, shiny, healthy fur. At 12, although he has begun to slow down and has lost a bit of his prime weight/muscle mass; he is still in amazing health for being a giant breed. We give credit to DIAMOND NATURALS for so many years of companionship and love from our "Big Bubba".

Poops are normal too! Often I get “cow pie” type poops with their old food. Glad to have found for my Bernard’s.

Healthy Formula

My dog has a VERY sensitive stomach, so we are doing an extended transition from puppy food to this food. She’s not sure of the taste, but I think it’s just that

My dog has a VERY sensitive stomach, so we are doing an extended transition from puppy food to this food. She’s not sure of the taste, but I think it’s just that she was used to the chicken and this is lamb - and we are moving away from that. Most happy about her consist bowel movements with this dog food- this has been a significant problem for the pup. Just ordered the 2nd bag, working for us!

Bag came ripped open along with other items in package. To pay over $100 for these items for them to arrive in poor packaging is a shame. I don’t even feel safe

Made my dog sick

Made my dog throw up and gave them diarrhea. They were not too happy with the taste, and the food is very crumbly. Will be switching brands.
