It really works!
By Natalie on Jan 28, 2021
Honestly, I don’t remember how I came across this item? But it really does work for my cats and dogs of repelling fleas and killing any parasites they might have in their system. I have a large family of four legged fur babies so I was looking for something natural that could repel and kill any parasites. I have large containers that I keep the dog and cat food in so I use not quite a 1/2 cup for one large 30 lbs bag of food and then shake it up to distribute it evenly. I’ve noticed that my dogs skin condition has cleared up significantly. I think it does more than what it claims it does.

DE Contains silica?
By Cindy on Jan 22, 2021
I know DE contains silica which is bad as asbestos when breathing in. Not sure if food grade doesn’t contain silica. I would beware of using this product until positive it doesn’t contain silica.

Love this product
By RaeE on Sep 22, 2020
I have been using DE for years for flea control for indoor cats (not sure where they get them as dogs are on monthly prevention). Yes it's messy. You need to handle the product outside because it does get everywhere. And you need to leave it down on surfaces for at least two days to be effective. I highly recommend wearing a mask if you are sensitive. I have asthma and learned this lesson the hard way. The fact that I don't have to worry about my cats ingesting poison makes all this extra work worth it. I place the product around my bed, along baseboards, on the furniture cushions and on pet beds. The cats naturally disperse it through the house on their coats and feet. Versatile product
By Kent on Oct 19, 2020
We have been using this for external insecticide on our horses and dogs for several years. Just started using as an internal de-wormer also. Apparently working well. I sprinkle about a quarter cup on horse feed daily. We have long time wet our horse grain. So this mixed in easily and they have no problem eating and licking up the feed tubs. I sprinkle on their dry food, about a teaspoon for 2 medium size Heeler dogs and they lick the bowl also.

Natural way to get rid of bugs!

I used food quality diatemaceous earth in my front and back yards to repel fleas and mites. It works! Because it is "food quality", it was something safe to use with pets. Excellent!

Food Grade is a Lie
By Casey on Sep 13, 2020
Do not put this in your animal’s food! My dog got chemical burns thanks to this “food grade” powder. His hair started falling out and developed huge open wounds (bigger than my fist and he’s a 15 lb terrier mix). We stopped using immediately, over a month ago, and he still has bald patches from where the sores were. DO NOT GIVE THIS TO YOUR ANIMALS “AS RECOMMENDED”. I did plenty of research before even ordering this product about how safe it is and there wasn’t anyone saying it would be bad, I followed directions based on his weight to a T and this still happened. Please keep your babies safe!

FLEAS AND FOOD

I HATE THESE REQUESTS THAT FORCE ME TO WRITE SOMETHING LONGER THAN I WOULD LIKE. CHANGE THIS SO I CAN STOP WASTING MY TIME ON THESE THINGS.
