Is this a harness as well, do I just connect the leash under the top small cover.

He measured her for it and said she needed the X-Large, but when we tried to put it on her it was a little bit too big. She is a female German Shorthair Pointer and her weight was around 48 pounds last we checked in November 2017 and this was a gift for December 2017. Thankfully Chewy is really great about if the size is wrong and we were able to get a refund and a new jacket in the Large size sent out quickly. Customer service is great!

I do a lot of hiking in bad weather and am very disappointed. Also has a bottom strap that must be used to stay on that looks uncomfortable and my dog hates.
