Think it would work on cats that hate getting nails cut? To maybe keep away from my hands.

Probably not. Cones prevent their claws and teeth from reaching spots on their own body, but won't prevent them from being able to reach you.

The product listing is for the product I want, but what they shipped, while under the same name, is a different color and a different depth of size. The cone is 7" long, too short for my dog's face; the product is useless at this size. I just want the product that's shown on the product page with three tiers of snap holes, what they shipped only has two. Way way too short.

bought this on December oth and I am not satisfied with it at all. This is labeled as a Large, but it fits like a Medium. It is far too loose on my dog. The plastic tabs that are supposed to hold the cone together feel extremely cheap and kept popping open constantly. I tried it on my medium-sized dog, and even just rolling on the ground caused the tabs to pop out repeatedly. The only positive thing I can say is that the clear plastic material is fairly quiet when my dog paws or scratches at it. Other than that, I would not recommend this cone to anyone.

Large definition? Because this definitely isn't large it may fit a Yorkie! I bought this thinking maybe it would fit my German Shepherd as other brands I've purchased

Large definition? Because this definitely isn't large it may fit a Yorkie! I bought this thinking maybe it would fit my German Shepherd as other brands I've purchased in large have fit. This missed the mark. If you have a small breed this may be perfect for your dog, if its a large breed don't buy your only setting yourself up for failure

Very Sturdy for Active Dogs

I have had no less than 7 Elizabethan collars, some softer than others which just got bent down by my very active dog. This is easily put on, sized down after grooming

This is easily put on, sized down after grooming appts. and doesn't let my dog scratch at his hot spots due to his allergies. Great color, great preventative collar with sturdy material to match!!!

I think the sizes are a bit off. Neck size was on smaller side of medium on my dog .. i measured. I should have got large or maybe larger. My dog can still pick

Too heavy

Don't buy this unless it's your only choice. It'll get the job done when needed but there are much better options out there. I didn't buy this from chewy but rather

Don't buy this unless it's your only choice. It'll get the job done when needed but there are much better options out there. I didn't buy this from chewy but rather from a pet store. My dog wore it for two days and it got the job done but looked real uncomfortable. Thankfully the vet was able to get me a much lighter and better cone today. The plastic on this cone is so heavy that my dog struggled to keep the lower outer edge up off the ground and when standing she'd sort of lean the top edge of the cone against a wall or furniture to take the weight off and lift it up off her ears and head. Her normally upright ears were almost always flattened against her head because the plastic was so heavy that the outer edge of the cone would drop low. The one good thing about it is the fasteners. They were easy and allowed me to take it off for walks and meals. Not worth how uncomfortable it looked on her though.

Too long, scares my cat

The instructions say the nose should not extend beyond the edge, but my cat is struggling to see and move around and bangs into edges of furniture, scaring himself

The instructions say the nose should not extend beyond the edge, but my cat is struggling to see and move around and bangs into edges of furniture, scaring himself. I’m not sure he can eat or drink with it. He had oral surgery and the vet offered a shorter collar of the same design that still prevents scratching. I’m going to try a shorter cone and monitor.
