Dremel Grooming Bands for the 7350-PT &7300-PT Nail Grinder

I do my Boston Terrier’s nails every Sunday morning and for the past two weeks in a row I’ve had a defective product experience with these sander bands. What happened is the seam of the sanding band spiral split open while the rotary tool was on and flung the sander band very fast at a strong force. When it happened last week with a brand new band, I thought it was just a fluke so I put a fresh sander band on again today and covered my dog’s eyes with the corner of the towel I was holding him in just in case - and it happened again with the new band. It happened two weeks in a row with two different bands from the same package. The package says these bands can be used up to 35,000 revolutions per minute. My WEN rotary sander tool can only go up to 25,000 (and I use it at the 15,000 speed to start and then the 5,000 speed for finishing up). My dog is age 4 and I’ve never had any difficulties before with sanding bands so I really feel this is related to these spiral cut Dremel sander bands. I strongly encourage Chewy to stop selling these as I feel they are a public safety concern. My dog could’ve very easily been injured if these had been flung into his eye or his face. It was just good luck that they were flung away from him when they split open. I think it would be safer to have a sander band made from a continuous piece of sandpaper, not a spiral. I have repotted the issue to Chewy customer service as well.
