Made with fresh, good-for-pups foods, like bananas and peas and cucumbers, this five-ingredient recipe is a tasty Halloween dog treat your dog (and their costume-wearing crew!) will happily slurp up. Here’s how to make a green-hued dog-friendly punch that all the canine guests at your Halloween party this year will love.

Ingredients
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup frozen banana, sliced
1/2 of a fresh cucumber (about 3/4 cup), washed well and roughly chopped, but not peeled
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
2 tablespoons all-natural creamy peanut butter*
*Make sure your peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.

Measuring cup
Measuring spoon
Optional: A cauldron-like bowl for serving
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients to blender.
2. Cover with lid and blend until you have a smoothie consistency.
3. Pour out about 1 cup’s worth for your pup into a bowl and serve.
How Much To Serve Your Dog
As you would with any other treat, serve your pooch a small amount. Treats should only constitute a small percentage of your pet’s daily dog food. We’re talking no more than 10 percent of your pet’s diet (and if your pet is overweight, even less than that).
For example, if your pet needs 600 calories per day, they should have no more than 60 calories from treats. Feeding too many treats can lead to nutrient deficiencies.
