Do you have to attach the tunnel at the top, or could you leave this off if desired?

Answer by ChewyMay 18, 2020
The tunnel at the top does not require installation and may be left off if desired.

What is the diameter of the tunnel & the length & width of the perches?

Answer by ChewyJun 29, 2023
The circular area of the cat tree measures approximately 12 inches in diameter. The base and lower perch measure 24 x 14 inches and the top perch measures 12 x 12 inches.

We have two cats and the hammock and cylinder are quite small. It also shakes quite a bit when they attempt to jump on the top layer, making them not as keen to hang out because it seems a little unstable. We have weighed it down but I would recommend more for kittens.

I honestly feel bad for my 1 year old cat because she was always zooming outside I never thought to get her a cat tree, but I ordered this one recently for my 8 week old kitten and let me tell you... Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have been going buck wild on this thing. They play so rough on it I was honestly worried about the structure's integrity but it's holding up great! They love the multi-level and love the circular hide out as well! They haven't used the hammock at all but that's okay! It was also super easy to put together which I'm grateful for! Size is perfect as well.

Penny loves it!

Our grand kitty is over 16 pounds. After her first attempt at reaching the top perch and landing with all legs off the perch, I figured she would never go up there again! I was wrong!! She can successfully land the top perch. The tube is too small for her and she has only played with the hammock from the second perch. Yes, the tree can support a kitty up to 25 pounds, but not all the areas can be used. I’m not even sure what size kitty could fit in the tube, the opening is 7.5 inches. While I wish she could get in the tube to hide, she loves lounging on tiers two & three while she surveys her kingdom.
