In making Evangers organic Turkey n Butternut Squash, where is the ingredients, vitamins, and minerals sourced from?

Answer by ChewyMar 20, 2022
The vitamin and mineral supplements they use are sourced by a local American company. They source whatever vitamin and mineral supplements they can domestically, but some just are not available. They are then forced to source certain supplements overseas. Every ingredient must have a “Certificate of Origin” and “Certificate of Analysis” and they pay a premium to make sure no ingredients are sourced from China.

Are the cans BPA-Free?

Answer by ChewyMar 27, 2021
Evanger's cans are BPA-free.

Cats are weird eaters

I was optimistic about this food when I first bought it, especially for a few of my cats who boycott their homemade raw diet occasionally- and sometimes it’s great

I was optimistic about this food when I first bought it, especially for a few of my cats who boycott their homemade raw diet occasionally- and sometimes it’s great. I have 5 indoor cats, 4 are geriatric. Some days, 2 or 3 will eat all I put down for them, a couple will not. If I skip a few days or a week, and offer again, then some will eat it up, some not. And it’s not always the same cats eating it or not eating. So - I think it’s a good quality food, I like what I see in ingredient list. It’s good I have more than one or two cats because those who don’t eat it one day, often the others will. It’s a bit pricey to feed to the strays, but rather than throw away what my cats don’t eat, the strays gobble down. I’ll continue to buy and use in rotation to keep these picky furrbabies from getting bored. Our cats train us well.

All 3 Cats Love this food!

With 3 cats, it can be difficult to find wet food that they all enjoy. All 3 of them ate the food right away. Wonderful healthy and delicious option! Thank you!

Worked for all three!

I have some very picky eaters, but all three of my cats devour this. There's a good amount of gravy, and I love that I can trust the ingredients. When I switched

I have some very picky eaters, but all three of my cats devour this. There's a good amount of gravy, and I love that I can trust the ingredients. When I switched to this food and one other healthier brand, the amount my cats vomited dropped to almost zero. Very pleased.

My Cats Adore This Flavor

I love that this food is healthy and my cats gobble it down. This peel back lid is easier to open than the pumpkin/chicken bland diet can.

Latest cases cause my cats to throw up

After years of ordering, something has gone wrong. My cats throw up each time after I fed them from this latest case.

Dangerous lids

I've been very carefully removing lids from the Evanger's Organics line (Turkey & Butternut Squash, Beef Dinner, Braised Chicken Dinner) for the past several months

I've been very carefully removing lids from the Evanger's Organics line (Turkey & Butternut Squash, Beef Dinner, Braised Chicken Dinner) for the past several months. I'd never come across a can lid which was difficult to remove until encountering these - they do not peel and separate easily, and once about halfway off require some gymnastics and wrestling to remove completely. I've been doing this carefully in order to avoid cutting myself but finally got a big slice across my thumb which is still bleeding under a wrap with alcohol ten minutes later as I type. It's ridiculous that removing a can lid should be either this difficult or at all dangerous, but here we are. I've been through 10-20 cases all like this. I hope someone at Evanger's will get this issue sorted out.
