Do the balls stay in each level or do the come out easily?

When assembled properly the balls will stay in their tracks. However a frisky kitty may be able to pull them out for play.

Fast favorite

Didn't take him long to find the toy and me pushing the ball once got him immediately interested. He's 5 months and so far this has easily become his favorite toy already. And knowing that it's interactive and good for cats in terms of making them think, I'm definitely a fan too. It was also super easy to put together and it's super durable. It's also great because when he's extra energetic he'll chase the balls around it and when he's getting tired he'll lay down and swat at them so the perfect all around toy

Great for kittens!

Our 3-month-old kitten absolutely LOVES this toy! Our 4- or 5-month-old kitten isn’t quite as impressed, but still engages from time to time. Neither are very interested in the butterfly. The little one has been happily playing with this toy each day for a few weeks though. Even if he’s only into it for another month, it’s been well worth the purchase already—I might get more entertainment out of watching him than he does! (No issues with tipping or with balls coming out yet, though it is very lightweight and easily gets pushed around the floor.)

Can't go wrong with this one.

I have had a version of this toy for each one of my cats over the years. This time I chose your version for my 4-month-old kitten, who plays really hard with it. My 4-year-old cat tried to get near it to play, but the kitten wouldn't let her. I decided it's OK that the whole toy moves on the floor because that's part of the interaction the kitten loves.

Cats love it!

Cats live to bat the balls around the levels! One - young female - Lady Jane - has even figured out that when she taps the ball it comes around the other side and she's waiting for it!!!!! And my giant 19 pound BeeBee lays in his side and bats the ball on the lowest track! He decided the upper tracks were not for him!!! Yes. The cats do play with it - I even hear it at night!

Cat loves it

My kitten absolutely loves these towers. Keeps her entertained while I'm working. The only problem is, there are not replacement balls for it and she has managed to pop out all of them! I stole a ball from another tower, but it's not as fun with only 1 ball, lol.

Very small and light weighted.

If I had seen this in person, I probably wouldn't have bought it. It is small and my cats rarely play with it. I have a bigger one that only has one ball and a scratch pad in the middle. They like it way more and play with it more often

It's a hit!

Just unpacked and set up this toy (easy to do). Put it on the floor and my cat immediately started playing and hasn't stopped (15 min so far). She's 8 years old and hard to please toy wise so I'm thrilled.

Stays Together Well

I bought this item few weeks ago. I read the reviews and several said that the balls would pop out on their own, but I have not seen this issue at all. My cat practically slams into it while playing, yet, the balls haven't popped out once. Though, the butterfly did on occasion. My only complaint is that the entire toy doesn't stay in place that well and I have had a rubber stopper pop out once. But overall, my cat seems to enjoy it and it hasn't broken yet.

Cat Tracks Toy

EXCELLENT toy!!!!! My kitten has been spending hours playing with this - and uses it when she gets angry, which is funny to watch her bat it around....must make her feel better, cause she calms right down. LOVE THIS!!!!

Finicky cat

My cat is obsessed with the red dot. I got her this toy in hopes she will play by herself. Nope. She'll take a brief interest if my son is looking at her. She has zero interest in the butterflies.
