Can you buy new mats for the playpen separately?

Currently, there are no replacement mats available for the Frisco Collapsible Wire Cat Cage Playpen. However, the shelf size is 23.25 x 11.25, and other mats can work as long as they are not larger than those dimensions.

Could you please list specific weight limits for each individual level, including the base? Something more specific than “designed to hold cats of most sizes and life stages?” Thank you.

Each shelf supports up to 25 pounds and the base supports 37.5 pounds.

Do the wheels lock?

This playpen includes 4 rolling casters that can be locked. The caster wheels are removable, and use is optional.

How high are the opening doors from the ground?

The Bottom door from floor to door opening is approximately 5.3 inches. The Top door from floor to door opening is approximately 30 inches.

My cat loves it.

It's well made and study when assembled. I have 3 cats and the disagreeable older one wouldn't stop peeing on the couch at night. I think the other two were hassling

It's well made and study when assembled. I have 3 cats and the disagreeable older one wouldn't stop peeing on the couch at night. I think the other two were hassling her. This playpen is big enough for a litter box, a bowl of kibble, her water fountain, and a scratching pad. She seems to feel safe in there and asks to get in at night. It comes with three sleeping platforms but she's obese so I set it up so she has a double wide mid-height sleeping spot and lower one to use as a step. To make the double wide required a few zip ties but it works perfectly.

After looking in stores and online for several weeks, I finally decided this would fit in the available spot in my home! My kitty and I both LOVE it! It’s absolutely PERFECT! He jumps from shelf to shelf constantly, getting attention, exercise, and deep sleep naps! All the “you might also like” accessories offered on the website like the litter box, scoop, rug, coop bowl for water fit exactly like they were made for it. The faux shearling shelf covers look so soft and comfortable! I have recommended it to several friends already! My kitty is on the small side but he rocks it!

NOT BUILT TO LAST

THE SHELFS DO NOT ATTACH EASILY AND ARE NOT STURDY. I HAVE HAD TO REATTACH WHEN THE CATS JUMP ON THEM. THE CUSHIONS THAT ATTACH TO THE SHELF ARE VELCRO, CATS WORK

THE SHELFS DO NOT ATTACH EASILY AND ARE NOT STURDY. I HAVE HAD TO REATTACH WHEN THE CATS JUMP ON THEM. THE CUSHIONS THAT ATTACH TO THE SHELF ARE VELCRO, CATS WORK ON THOSE AND CHEW THEM AND GET THEM LOOSE. VELCRO ONLY LASTS SO LONG. THE LOCK MECHANISM IS WORTHLESS AND WITHIN A MONTH WAS NOT FUNCTIONING, SPRING AND WASHER INSIDE COMING LOOSE AND THE ROD CAME OUT. FIGURE MY OPTION IS TO BUNGEE CORD IT SHUT OR USE BALE WIRE, BOTH A NUISANCE TO THEN GET INTO THE CAGE MANY TIMES A DAY TO FEED, SCOOP, PET THE KITTY, CLEAN THE AREA. THIS IS NOT A QUALITY PRODUCT, ESPECIALLY DISAPPOINTING WHEN I TOOK A LEAP OF FAITH AND BOUGHT TWO OF THEM.

Easy access kitty playpen

This playpen is perfect for fostering kittens. There are 4 doors so access to both sides and levels are possible, making it easy to clean. I put the cat litter

This playpen is perfect for fostering kittens. There are 4 doors so access to both sides and levels are possible, making it easy to clean. I put the cat litter pan on the bottom, attached cage bowls for water and food so they don't spill any. I had 3 recent kitten fosters and they loved hanging out and jumping on the different levels. I hung a toy from the top and they had fun playing with it from the top perch. I never had to worry about them hiding in the house or being where they shouldn't be. It made fostering a lot easier for me and it kept them safe.
