Durable, inexpensive, and an Astrid Approved favorite. We modified the toy slightly adding ribbon and despined feathers to the end, but even before the modification, Astrid LOVES this toy. Originally bought because of the price, we all try to save a dollar in this economy, but if this would break, I would buy another one even if it was more expensive. We have had hours of fun with this, and it's a good quality so she can sink her tiny talons into it and it doesn't shred.

I was very happy to see that I was able to replace the old one with this, and I gifted one to another friend of mine whose cat is also obsessed with this thing.

Something about the simplicity of a pieces of fabric that flows easily is very appealing for our two cats who like wand toys. The only thing I would change is to make it a bit shorter for usability, but we could always cut it if we really want to. They have not gotten tired of this one after a few months like they do with most.

My husband is a master at playing with our two kittens (or any cat) with teaser toys and I don't have the timing down as he does. He never uses this toy but I do and the kitties seem to enjoy playing with it. It's a different concept than the slow moving, tease and pounce toy, but they still enjoy trying to catch the fluttering cloth. This is particularly well-built and I recommend it.

I got this as a second wand to another ribbon toy we have, but it was a disappointment. While our other wand flies around and keeps our cat engaged, this one felt heavy, slow, and awkward to swing. The handle felt cheap, and the motion was so sluggish it barely held our cat’s attention. She almost seemed in slow motion trying to play with it.

Fun wand

This is the second favorite toy of my adult cat. Wands are the only toys she cares to play with now that she's mature. We go back and forth in choice between her

This is the second favorite toy of my adult cat. Wands are the only toys she cares to play with now that she's mature. We go back and forth in choice between her telescoping feather wand and this cloth tail wand. Keavy will let me know which one she prefers on any given day. I tied some knots into the lower portion of the tail to give it a bit of added weight. She likes to grab onto the knotted parts and chew on them or just hold them tightly, and I pretend that I can't pull it away. (I like to help her feel like she's queen of the catch.)

This is my cat's favorite toy for playtime! It's great that it's made out of soft fabric that doesn't rip easily because my cat has chewed/ripped through other wand toys with his sharp fangs. My cat also doesn't mind when I wrap the string around him, which he can easily get out of thankfully!
