This litter box is exactly what I was looking for. Size extra large is perfect for my 13 lb cat. Quality is excellent. I highly recommend this product!!
Thank goodness I bought this kitty litter box! I inherited a big, 16 year old cat at a time I thought I would never have another after losing my baby cat Chloe. But Squiddy Boy needed a home and as I found out, I needed Squiddy! The kitty litter box was a major problem but this kitty box is GREAT and so now Squiddy and I will live happily ever after!
I bought this in May 2022, and unfortunately, it's September and the flap in the front has permanently already broken off (meaning it doesn't matter how many times I put it back, it pops off immediately upon cat entry). This sucks bc it no longer keeps all the litter in the box, and is all over the hallway... rendering the fancy cat box I've gotten to keep everything inside.... useless. They should sell replacement tops... or just build a product with an entry flap that is actually a good quality product.
I purchase a new litter box every six months or so. The litter boxes are porous so they will retain a urine smell after a while. My cat loves this litter box goes in fine and likes the privacy!
So I tried 3 different covered litter boxes for my 11 kitties. This is by far my favorite, about half the kitties agree (more of them like this one vs the other 2). I seems really flimsy and I was worried it wouldn't hold up. It has. The charcoal filter didn't last 5 minutes with my monsters. (None of them ever do.) I did not use the flaps, we do not like flaps. The little flip up part in front broke week 2. I have 20-25 lb. cats jumping on it from the top of a 6 ft. cat tree, not surprised it broke. Rest of it is great. Easy to clean, easy for my older kitty to get in and out of. Keeps the smells and mess in fairly well. I have to use pliers to flip up the flaps on the lid, but that's due to bad arthritis in my fingers, not the fault of the box. That's some industrial clips on the sides. I can pick the box up when it's full of litter by the handle on top with no worries. Love it so much bought 3 more of them.
Excellent choice I made. Very very happy and so is kitty. Thank you
The litter box is shallow and the poop and pee sticks to the litter box walls. Since the box is so low especially in the back end, the litter sticks to the walls and is very unsightly and requires wash down every time. I do not recommend this litter box.
I got this to replace my catit since this was more aesthetically pleasing. I think the size is good. My cats prefer it over their other box. The base is shallower than other boxes which affects how much litter you can put in. I don’t find the height to be that inconvenient but others might. The entry door came attached backwards so I flipped it around. The door is also super flimsy and isn’t well balanced (doesn’t fall completely vertically) so there are gaps which means dust or odor could escape. It isn’t securely attached either. It is very easy for my cat to paw and the door and it just falls off. I’ve come home to see the door fall in and out of the box. Also, when litter is in the box, I recommend holding the base to move the box around rather then using the handle on top of the box. It’s just way too flimsy to even try. It just looks like you’ll break the side latches. Overall the box does its job. Just wished the door was better. Maybe just completely take the door off.
This box is awful,it is shallow and takes twice as much litter. We need a deeper box because our cat likes to scratc she is damaging the bottom
I love the size the look and ease of the flip back top, however the design of the bottom pan makes cleaning difficult, the cat feces and urine get trapped in the grooves. I am back to the search for a litter box that is like this with a flush bottom
