With a sleek design and kitty-approved features, this high-sided litter retreat is the cat’s meow. The high walls provide plenty of privacy for your feline bestie while they take care of business. No peeking now! And if their aim is less than perfect, the high walls also prevent any scattering or spraying. The BPA-free plastic is flexible enough to nudge it into a small space. Time for litter duty? With rounded edges at the base, you can scoop waste more thoroughly, and with a little squeeze you can make a spout to dump out old litter when it’s time for a refresh. The easy-lift handles are a nice touch, too.
High-wall litter box style prioritizes privacy for kitty while containing any spraying or scattering.
Space-saving design with flexible, BPA-free plastic can be nudged to fit a small space.
Makes quick work of cleanup with side handles, rounded edges at the base for easy scooping, plus pointed sides that not only look cool, but also work as pouring spouts.
Includes a wide, low-profile entrance so most kitties can step in easily when nature calls.
Looking more like modern art than a litter box, the leaf-like shape blends in easily with your home décor.
I have 3 cats, each with a different litter box-related problem. The high-pee-er (cat #1) stands up when he pees, rendering most litter boxes useless, even ones that claim to be high-sided. Most hooded litter boxes are also useless for him, because the seam between the bottom and top of the box is too low, causing urine to leak through onto the floor. So I attempted using top-entry litter boxes, however, my big cat (cat #2) needs a large space to do his business, and cannot use a top-entry litter box because of arthritis. The small cat (cat #3) is very finicky and flat out refuses to use a top-entry litter box. The Frisco Leaf High-Sided Large litter box meets everyone's needs/preferences. It's high enough to contain the high-pee-er, large enough for the big cat, and is front-entry for the small finicky cat. It has a flat bottom and rounded corners so it is easy to scoop. It's relatively lightweight and somewhat flexible, so it's easy to take outside to hose down. It is sturdy enough to stand up to cat claws. It's affordable. It doesn't solve the litter scatter problem that plagues every cat owner, but I manage that using a rubber litter mat and low-tracking litter. The only improvement I would make to this box is to sell/include an optional lid to set on top to help hide the ugly litter and help contain dust. Overall, I'm very happy with this litter box and would definitely recommend them. If Frisco ever sells a lid, I will buy it.… more

A large high-sided litter box would be perfect for my boy. He likes to pee standing up and usually urine goes over the side which is a pain to clean up as you all know. First time he tried to use this box he couldn’t turn around in it as it’s just too small inside. Then once he did turn around he ended up peeing facing the direction of the entry. Needless to say, this box didn’t work out. The perfect box would be larger inside with these high sides.
Had high hopes but didn't work for me

My 19 year old female pees standing up...usually in a corner and frequently right over the top. I thought the high sides on this box would help, but it's not deep enough. My cat walked in the front until her nose touched the back and peed...right out the front of the box. She is only about 6 lbs, so size isn't the issue...but the interior space is pretty small. The other cats did okay but I have 5 cats so I was constantly cleaning out boxes and adding litter due to the small interior space.
Great for the High Peeing Puddies

I previously had a hooded box that I cut the top out of for ease of cleaning. It didn't look great and sometimes the pee would seep out between the joint where the box and hood met, making the area smell like urine.
This Leaf High Sided box has been great! I will say my girl is an only cat and she peed in it from the very start. She did choose not to poop in the box for the first 2 days, but after those first 2 days, she is using the box perfectly.
Note: I put the litter from her old box into the new box and I always clean the box 1-2 times per day.
Glad I bought it

This litter box is lightweight, and the litter doesn’t stick to it. I have several cats and have been cutting out an opening in totes and using them for litter boxes. But this litter box has really high sides and works as well as the totes for keeping the spray in the box. Plus it’s smooth all the way sound and on the bottom which makes it much easier to scoop. I just ordered two more.
Relief against overshooting

OK, so I got a new cat, a female. I did not expect her to spray over the sides of the litter box and I have very high sided litter boxes. I saw this on the Chewy web site and decided to try one last time. It is perfect. Not only does it manage her propensity to pee standing up, it is very light and flexible so you can dump it easily into a garbage bag. I used to use litter liners but there are none big enough for what was needed.
Perfect Litter Box

My cats and I love this litter box! I have hated them knocking litter out of the box, and they haven't liked the boxes with tops. This box is the answer! Perfect size for two cats, and it keeps the litter in the box. They like it. Easy to clean. I clean their box both daily feeding times. Very happy with this purchase.
No new tricks for this cat

My cat did not like this litter box. He peed in it, but would not poop in it. It was a little bit short for him lengthwise, and he’s not used to the high sides. His preferred box is the pressed paper, disposable box size large. He’s a normal sized senior cat. Otherwise, the box is fine, and may work well for other cats.

Whatever you do..don’t fold it like they show on last picture because it cracked!
I ended up duct taping it so I was able to use it!
Too cumbersome to return!
At that price point this product should be made much better!
Loved the idea of the high sides.
But cheaply made!
