My dogs go somewhere maybe 6 days a week in the car, and it’s been a great way to keep my seats clean from crazy puppy antics which generally include muddy paws and some kind of disgusting substance that she rolled in. I’m sure it’s saved my car many cleanings and I love it so much. Also, no one goes flying into the footwell with sudden brakes anymore. Lastly, they prefer this to clipping into their harnesses and yet I feel like they’re much safer than letting them ride loose.

I purchased the Frisco Premium Quilted Water Resistant Hammock Car Seat Cover specifically to protect my new car’s back seat from my beagle’s occasional accidents. The product is advertised as "water resistant," which gave me confidence it would prevent messes like urine from seeping through. Unfortunately, this claim is completely false. During a car ride, my dog had an accident, and the urine went straight through the cover, soaking into my car’s upholstery. Now, my new car seat has a persistent pee smell that I can’t fully eliminate, despite thorough cleaning attempts. This was exactly the kind of situation I bought this product to prevent, and it failed miserably. The hammock design and seatbelt tether are fine, but the core promise of water resistance, a critical feature for pet owners, is simply not true. This false advertising led to damage to my car, which is frustrating and costly. I cannot recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their car seats from pet accidents. Save your money and look for a truly waterproof alternative.

I have a dog that’s a heavy shedder. Regular seat covers kept the car seats clean but the hair was still there and cleaning the covers wasn’t easy. Removing the covers, cleaning them, and then putting them back on was a major task. This project installs or is removed in about 2 minutes and the hair can be easily removed. Love it!!

Our dog has a problem with jumping into the front seat. We wanted a cover with preventions for this. This cover seems to be high-quality fabric and has a front portion and a buckle-in leash, which is everything we needed to keep her in the back seat. The leash has enough flex that she can lay down and wander to the windows without difficulty. The sides facing the doors don't stay up for us but we believe it's just the type of sedan we have. We ordered two of these covers, for mine and my husband's cars, and we've been very happy with our experince.
