Can this mat be cut to size with a pair of scissors? I would love to fit it in a corner of my home and cut out a small square of the mat to make it conform to the corner of the bathroom counter

Yes. I recommend that you cut slits and permit the Matt to run up the molding rather than cut a square out.

Can this mat be swept with a small broom?

no, it would have to be vacuumed to get the litter out properly. I shook mine out and hosed it down and there were still litter pieces coming out after it dried

Are there any identifying numbers? What size is the xtra large mat?

The Large litter mat measures 35 x 24 x 0.3 inches and the X-Large litter mat measures 47 x 31 x 0.3 inches (length x width x height).

If my cat misses box and pees will this catch pee? Does it have edges?

Poor design

This particular litter box advertised that it prevented cat urine from spilling out. Unfortunately, this is not the case. My male cat sprays when he urinates which

This particular litter box advertised that it prevented cat urine from spilling out. Unfortunately, this is not the case. My male cat sprays when he urinates which is why I chose a top loading litter box. I put together this litter box as instructed. The urine leaked out onto the floor because it seeped through the seams where the pieces connect. The stainless steel pan needs to be higher on both the front and back end with no flap otherwise the urine sprays out of the box. Waste of $70. I have to go back to a $7 plastic Sterilite storage bin and cut a hole in the top. Works better than this $70 litter box product. I’m stuck with an unusable litter box.

Dear Chewy, I ordered this replacement litter mat, for which you offered free shipping. I very much thank you, but this Frisco mat also smells too strongly for the cats to use it. It has been aired out for more than 24 hrs. I will now order a Gorilla Grip mat, which you unfortunately don't offer, as I have had this several times before and can rely on it. I regret that the second litter mat did not work out as well.

Folded wrinkle would not lay flat and horrible plastic smell

This was the worst cat Matt I ever got the smell was so strong. Like cheap plastic I had to throw it away immediately would not recommend it to anybody. wrinkled

Can I get the creases out absolute waste of $18 chewy was amazing with quick delivery, but this product was horrendous.

Okay, so I bought two of these to go under my kittens' litterboxes. One of my kittens was having some digestive upset, and it stained the first one of these. I cannot get the brown color off. (Better the mat than my floor.) So these aren't very cleanable. THEN, the second one... my kitten decided that she would shred it? All around the edges she tore off chunks. So this is definitely not kitten proof either. I was actually astonished that she was able to do so much damage. I'll be completely honest too... it doesn't really catch litter that well. I have used these with okocat litter AND the walnut cat litter. Doesn't really work.

This mat works pretty well. It catches about 90% of the litter that tracks out with the cat. I don't believe you'll find any mat that does 100%, I've looked and this has definitely been the best. It's easy to clean i just roll it up and go outside to shake it off. I love that it comes in different sizes, that is very convenient ther brands in the past I've used don't offer that option. I'd definitely recommend this t other cat owners who are dealing with litter tracking out of the box.

Disappointed: when I shook these out for the first time they both tore. You have to shake quite vigorously to get the litter out because of the tight weave. Also

I purchased a new litter box and mat for my two elderly male cats to make winter a little easier for them. The mat is a great size, chosen because I wanted it to catch the litter no matter which way they walked. The mat has never flattened out and after 2weeks remains creased with a long thin diagonal bubble lifting a section up. That’s not why I give it one star, though. It doesn’t fulfill its purpose: litter is tracked out every single use, which makes it money wasted.
