Is it sturdy enough to keep a very strong dog from pushing it over?

Use the wall cups for stability and safety. Wall cups and assembly hardware are included and install according to assembly instructions. Never leave the pet unattended and monitor while in use.

Is this a walkthrough without taking it down? I need to be able to go between my patio and garage man door

This gate features a convenient walk-through design with a one-touch top release safety lock, and a 2-step safety latch on the bottom.

I have baseboards on the walls and entrance to the room where I want to put the gate, can I (should I) mount it to the wall just above the baseboard? The baseboard is not vertical. If I do, no part of the gate will be resting on the floor.

This gate can be installed where there is a baseboard. Adjust each threaded spindle rod as needed.

Is it plausible to install the gate off the floor (say with 6" space underneath) to allow cats under but not large dogs?

While it is recommended to install gate against the floor, it may be install slightly above for required access. As this gate features a bottom rail, you'll need to step over the railing when walking through.

It is between dining room and mud room, so was crossed multiple times a day by every family member. It continued to close and latch every time. Works well

I had to “upgrade” my previous gate for my pets (peke a poos and shipoos) for my cavapoo puppy w “leaper legs”. He’s only 11 lbs but mostly all legs and he can jump!

So this keeps confined like he’s supposed to be. Super easy install. Very pleased. Can stay propped open when not in use. Nice feature. Rod is spacing is close so my little dogs can’t sneak thru.

Ease of installation, ease of use, looks fantastic and functions exactly as needed. Absolutely love the spring closure at a short open distance and stay propped open function when opened fully. I have two. One for my art studio and the other for my office. The gates allow for the solid doors to be open and daylight to shine back into my hallway!! However, keeps my cats out of my art supplies as well as off my office desk. Perfect, durable, function and attractive for a gate. Additionally, they are tall enough where my female cat can’t scale up and over it!! 100% Recommend!

We purchased the black color and it goes well with our aesthetics of our home. Looks fancy and not like a ugly dog gate from other places. Very happy with our purchase.

Ordered xtra tall gate and very pleased with it. It took 30+ min to install to the door jam. It looks nice and I love the gate door option to stay open if needed

Ordered xtra tall gate and very pleased with it. It took 30+ min to install to the door jam. It looks nice and I love the gate door option to stay open if needed. My 3 yr old kitty was able to jump over the gate on the first day. I put a full door screen against the gate so he could not try to jump again. There are times I dont up up the screen and he is not trying to jump anymore he knows niw there are other cats on the other side so that may be a factor. He can meet all the others and eventually join the group. I love this gate and it looks nice. The gate is affordable bought through Chewy.

If you open it up all the way it will lock in so youcan go in and out without having to open it every single time if you’re bringing in groceries from your car, this is great that way can leave it open. Go to your car come back. It’s still open when you’re done pull it a little bit toward you and it will shutall by itself and latch every time. Easily installed in 15 minutes. All you need is a Phillips head bit on a drill.
