Gaines Pet Duck Feet were an absolute hit with my corgi. She immediately got excited when she sniffed the bag and a single duck foot kept her busy for a good length of time. They are a really good size so small dogs will need to be monitored, but a perfect choice for medium/large breeds. As a pet owner, I like that these are a "power snack" full of protein, essential amino acids, and naturally high in all the necessary joint health requirements. Also these are fully digestible so I didn't have to worry about her consuming it. If you are sqeaumish, be prepared, these are straight dehydrated duck feet that look like exactly that. Also, they are made in "USA or Poland" so not entirely a USA made product. Still gave 5 stars as the health benefits and the "wow" factor from my corgi out weighed the look (duck feet are duck feet ...) and made in locations (acceptable locations).

The duck feet are a decent size. Product is made in the USA! That’s definitely important to me. These duck feet are naturally rich in collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin. Reduces plaque and tarter build up which I also love. Anything to help with his big boys. Of course they are now Rocco’s new favorite!!

I received the treat in the mail and realized that they weren’t a good size for my Mastiffs big mouth. He has a tendency to try to swallow treats whole and the feet appeared to have some sharp and pointy edges so I was afraid that he would choke. However, my mom has a small dog, a Shih Tzu who breaks things up into small pieces and chews and she enjoyed them thoroughly.

Zelda loved these crackly, crunchy, little duck feet. She has been so bored after her surgery on bed rest. Bored because the yard is covered in a foot of icy snow, and bored of her usual treats, too. She's getting a lot of treats this week, and this one was a real hit. She knew exactly what to do with these crispy flippers. It only took her a minute or two to eat the whole thing. It was easy to chew up and swallow with no trouble, and didn't leave greasy marks or crumbles on the rug like her bones do. She'd eat the whole bag, if she could!

Our 9 yo Bernese (our 3rd) suddenly started itching and scratching a few days after starting these. I had never seen her do the “corn cob” gnawing I was familiar with from our other BMDs (until I eliminated chicken but that’s another story). I like to give her 1 duck foot a day after a meal for teeth cleaning & joint health. The previous brand I was buying through Chewy was packaged in breathable mesh. Sadly, they have not been available. This brand is sealed in an airtight plastic bag so perhaps some sort of off-gassing is occurring from the plastic or if they are preserved /coated with something. Just guessing here. Her allergic reaction symptoms have greatly diminished to almost nothing since I stopped giving them to her a few days ago. (I do get the side eye when I hand her a carrot instead lol.) * I question that the package says “Made in USA: what exactly does “Made” mean? Packaged? Or raised? Dang, wanted to love them!

Dogs Drooled over these!

My Shepherd and Mal love these! I highly recommend- giving them the duck feet is so much better than many of the alternatives out there.

Our golden doodle really enjoyed these duck chews. She normally chews up any type of treat or bone quite quickly. It actually took her at least 5 minutes to chew it all up. They are not greasy at all. She has a sensitive stomach but these did not create any problems with her not feeling well after chewing up and eating them.
