Continue to Canada siteFish love to hide and explore, and Galapagos Sinkable Driftwood will give them plenty of chances to do just that. Just pop it into your aquarium—either freshwater or saltwater—to make a vibrant focal point that human observers can enjoy, too. Nocturnal fish and smaller fish especially love a driftwood shelter for hiding. This sinkable driftwood is also compatible with aquatic plants. This is also great for use with aquatic turtles, terrestrial turtles, tortoises, aquatic amphibians, terrestrial amphibians, invertebrates, lizards, and snakes.

I ordered 2 medium and 2 medium/large. The size description for the medium is 13 x 8 x 8inches and for the medium/large 16 x 12 x 12inches. As you can see from the picture that there is no obvious difference in the sizes. The longest one is 13.5 inches. They are completely flat (not even an inch thick) and the widest one is barely 4 inches across. Unless you want a useless slab of light, flimsy wood, I would suggest going with something like mopani which is beautiful and economical. Or go to your local aquarium store and look at driftwood. You'll pay a lot more, but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
Same issue as many reviewers. Ordered a medium piece of driftwood and it is no where close to the described dimensions. Was hoping it would add some character to my tank, but it’s just a plank.
Received 2 medium pieces of driftwood as ordered. Both pieces were flat, meaning like a piece of bark. No branching or extensions of any kind. Absolutely NOTHING like any of the pictures. While I understand that it is a natural product and each piece is different, the pieces that I received would be better suited as coasters for a glass of water. Truly a very disappointing product.
Ordered this for my first Chewy order along with a bag of substrate for a live planted aquarium. First delivery, the package was damaged and I had to be sent a replacement. Things happen, I understand. However, my replacement order showed the driftwood had snapped into two pieces and the bag of substrate had come open and was rolling around loosely in the box. First order with Chewy will likely be my last order.
Was hoping for something with some "character." I was sent two slabs of flat wood. Would NOT recommend.
I ordered a different product that turned up out of stock after it was approved so I ordered this instead. I was hoping for something with some sort of shape, not a flat piece of wood. What a disappointment.
I purchased this thinking I would receive something that had so sort of resemblance to the picture, but WOW was I wrong. It is literally a flat piece if wood. Nothing branching up or off to the side. It looks like an overcooked slab of cheap beef.
I was a bit apprehensive purchasing an item like this online primarily because natural wood is so individually unique and being that I have a tall tank not a long tank I figured it'd be pretty hit or miss. It's perfect! Exactly the size that was stipulated online. I purchased the medium, about 13 inches in height and about 6 inches wide. The shape is beautiful there's lots of divots and crevices for shrimp to hide in. I can't wait for the tank to come in today, I hope it fits!
I bought the driftwood as a hiding place for a crayfish, but instead of the 13x8x8 branched wood depicted, mine is essentially a flat piece of bark, 13x5x2, and won't work for my needs. I get that every piece of wood will be different, but this is borderline fraud and it appears I was one of the lucky ones.
This product was supposed to be 10 inches long and 6 inches tall. It is about 7 inches long and 4 inches tall.
